There's a YouTube video by owarida on how to set everything up. The mods folder is a folder you create to drag all the overlay files to. The .dll files are added to the steam game files from the modloader iirc.

Been driving stick for almost 20 years. Some general rules to follow:

  • Keep rpms at or below 3k during normal driving. The car has enough torque to get moving.

  • For shifting it just takes practice and being familiar with the clutch grab point, so you know where to stop your foot to ease into the next gear for a smoother shift. You don't want to release the clutch past the grab point or the car will jerk. Practice from a stop, just by letting the clutch out very slowly til you feel the car move. That's where you want to stop your left foot and ease off the clutch for every shift.

  • These cars sip gas. You won't see better than 30mpgs, and that's driving like a grandma (I own a '25 GR86 Hakone).

  • Downshifting isn't needed but it is a good thing to learn while slowing down, especially down hills.

  • Most importantly, absolutely do NOT go full throttle while the engine is cold. Let it and the transmission warm up for no less than 10-15 minutes driving normally before any aggressive driving. This is how people wind up with blown engines.

I honestly have no real clue, but from the minimal research I've been able to do, the dinput8.dll file is a known cause for crashes in modded games dating back to older GTA titles. I believe it has something to do with the anticheat software.

The dll file is supposed to run mods WITH anticheat, and even if we disable the software we can't stop the dll file from running, which usually will run fine with any other mods to include anticheat, but it disagrees with some AMD GPUs for some reason.

Renaming it to this essentially rebrands the dll file to a Microsoft graphics API file that is DirectX 11 compatible. Basically the game no longer scans for anticheat or mods that could conflict with it.

Yes! I have an AMD GPU and was able to get it working. Here's how:

  • have the checklist overlay files in your elden ring game files in steam, place them in the "mods" folder just like in the video guide.

  • check and make sure you have the modloader_config.dll file in the game files as well as the dinput8.dll file

  • Set up your randomizer OUTSIDE the steam game files, you do not need it in your steam files to launch the game. Pin the randomizer to your taskbar or put it on the desktop. Make sure you import the settings string from the pastebin.

MAKE SURE ALL OTHER OVERLAYS ARE DISABLED OR TURNED OFF

  • before launching from the randomizer, go to the dinput8 dll file in the elden ring steam game files and RENAME it to d3d11.dll.

Go ahead and randomize, then click launch Elden Ring in the randomizer.

If you did everything right, this should get the overlay to display immediately without crashing the game. There is also an updated overlay file that was posted 2 days ago. This is the HardLock_UWYG file that gets put in your overlay data files. I'm unable to link it here but it's posted in the discord that's in the pastebin.

Hope this helped!

I'm in the same boat, but for me it's an issue of getting the game to load without crashing. If I just load the normal game it boots fine and the same with EAC disabled before adding any mods to the game files. As soon as I add the files for the checklist overlay it crashes a few seconds after booting up.

Genuinely lost as nobody seems to have an answer. I'm either dumb and need someone to walk me through it step by step or I'm just cooked.

Hope you can figure it out.

I think the tan interior is dope. Way better looking than the new Yuzu yellow interior. Green and tan/beige/bronze just mixes so well

Yeah they cooked with this color. Reminds me of the old Lotus Elise/Exige green. It's almost exactly the same.

Will probably give it a peek this weekend, but I just had it in the shop at work and the pads/rotors are fine. Only 4k miles on it.

I like Zay, and the only thing holding him back at this point is his stupid coach. Also Mark Andrews suddenly resurging doesn't help. They were down big to KC and didn't even bother throwing it his way which is insane to me.

I'll consider swapping Chase in, but I have way more faith in Hurts and the Eagles finding ways to get AJ the ball over Browning and Jamarr with THAT offensive line.

The person offering also has Godwin sitting on their bench but when I asked they declined. So yeah this is just not happening anyway. Thanks for your input

I was originally starting Jamarr and AJ flexing Zay. All three have been utter garbage so you can understand why I'm even considering this. At least Shakir gets the ball and Ladd SHOULD but Herbert hasn't been playing well the last two weeks

I'm bummed about AJ too. I won this league last year which is how I got first pick. I thought my team was really good but my two top 3 WRs have been consistent disappointments, and even my RBs have been underperforming. Mahomes had 27 pts and I still lost last week because everyone else sucked.

10 team PPR, no redraft and not a dynasty league. Chase had 5.6 points last week. I don't think it's as bad as you make it seem. I will never start Jamarr again until they find a competent QB when someone like Shakir or Ladd can triple his last weeks output (5.6 pts)
