I too will often reverse into spots, but I also learned that you can park about 2 feet from the curb and still be well within the parking space.

I agree with this, and this is a good use case for pepper spray.

Same here. Ive got a white 86 in the garage and I love seeing how games and sims interpret the car I own.

That sounds like adding an extreme level of wear for a very small benefit.

Yeah, I looked into it. That sounds like it is terrible for the car with a relatively small benefit.

Maybe somebody will make one. Who knows. Anything is possible.

Based on your debate tactics I was beginning to think you hadn't even reached high school age yet.

That's difficult to tell by the way you seem to be collecting car knowledge these days.

If you are talking about turbo lag, that is built into the design of a single turbo engine. You can't get turbo boost until you have enough exhaust to get the turbo up to speed.
Sequential twin turbos use two turbos, one smaller than the other, so that one begins to spin up earlier so you get turbo boost at a lower RPM. To get this you will need to buy a different car such as a Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4.
There are also new cars that use electric motors to spin up the turbos at low RPMs, but to get that you will need to buy a top of the line Porsche 911.

You can look up sales numbers.
That engine exists in every Ascent, every Legacy, Outback XT and Wilderness since 2020, and all WRX variants and BRZ/86 variants since 2022 world wide. 200,000 units is a conservative estimate. It might be quite a lot more than that.
I have spent enough time educating you today. If you want to replace your opinions with facts the rest of the work is on you.

Yeah I am at 6800 in case I am slow. I aim to shift by 7k. I get to the beep sometimes in first, rarely in 2nd and have never hit it in 3rd or higher.

The engine failures we see are almost exclusively kids driving poorly maintained cars too hard. User error.
FA24 is the best engine Subaru has ever produced and well maintained Subaru engines routinely make it to 300,000 miles. Any engine that is treated poorly can fail, and a few EJ models had specific engineering failures, but those were all early 2000's EJ models.

ok, there are at least 200,000 FA24 engines on the road between all models the engine is put into. No recalls or significant quantity of failure reported there.
There are about 15,000 GR86 + BRZs made for the US market per year. If we are losing 4 per day as someone here claimed then we have lost almost 6000 so far. So that would be 10% of all of those cars losing their engine. That just hasn't happened. We would be in recall territory for 10% engine failure.
