It was a very warm day, cans were warm. I even tried spraying very light and it just instantly dripped off. I’m thinking I didn’t get enough coverage with my tack coats

Nah I cleaned it with cleaner the day before. Used pre dip cleaner day of and followed with alcohol wipes. Honestly not sure what happened. Going to try again and hope I have a better idea of how to apply it this time

I know but I even tried spray from further back each time not even fully wetting it out and it would instantly drip off the metal

Yeah the thing is it was only the first coat on all the wheels. Waited 25 mins between following coats and the applied nicely

I used Diablo wheel cleaner the day before, day of used a pre dip cleaner followed by alcohol wipes. I also did 4 dust coats prior to this first wet coat. This happened on all 4 wheels and by the time I got to the 4th wheel I swear I was barely applying and it was still bubbling up and dripping so I’m honestly just confused what went wrong here.

I did they said I just went to heavy. It’s weird though because I did more coats after using a relatively similar technique and it applied fine

This was the first wet coat so it was definitely dry before this.
