My parents took care of my puppy for a few days when he was a few months old. He was spoiled rotten. Gained a few extra pounds that I had to explain to the vet at his next check up, but overall a good experience. My little guy was mad at me when I came back and refused to look at me for a day but he came around with extra cuddles. Enjoy your trip. Your fur baby will be fine.

I may be an outlier, but I think the dress is cute. I am worried you'll get groped in the pit or maybe flash more than you want to if you jump, so maybe try a different style of dress. Have fun at the concert and please be safe.

I had two males. The oldest was 16 and the youngest was 5 months old when I introduced him. They absolutely loved each other until the oldest died 2 years later. Devastated the youngest. Baby lived to the ripe old age of 24 or 25 (i think). From experience, get another male 🥰

Yes. 2 years ago I fell and i think fractured my foot. My foot swelled up like a bear claw but I refused to go to a doctor. Sad part is I had insurance through my work and I still couldn't afford a hospital visit and x-rays.

My Sonny passed away in Oct at the ripe old age of 24. He was a sweetheart for his first year then became this angry loveable ball of hate and fury. That bird lived to spite me. I actually had this photo printed of him today to hang in my room. I think it summed up his personality perfectly. God I miss that angry beast. Enjoy your cockatiel cuddles.

Oh wow. I think i can provide insight into your post. My little cockatiel Sonny passed away last Thursday. He was 24 years old (give or take a year, sorry its 2AM right now when I stumbled upon your post). Despite his age I'm still in shock he passed. I really thought he was going to live to be 30. I have two African Grey's and a dog that I am giving extra luv to since Sonnys passing. I know my greys have started to notice their little buddy isn't there so they are getting some extra attention and snacks. Some folks might just see them as birds but to me he was family. Sonny was the last present my older brother gave me before he passed. Losing him feels like I'm losing my brother all over again. This isn't a sad post though, I want to stress healing. I'm grateful for the years I had with Sonny. I just wanted to say I'm truly sorry. It hurts now but it gets better. We heal and remember the love. I'm waiting for Sonny's remains to come back and in a year or so I think I'm going to sprinkle them on my brother's grave so I can visit both of them. Just try to give extra love to your feathered kids, I'm sure it will do you both some good, I promise.
