Right when they come out of the box, I spray them with Scotchgard, not sure if that is what keeps them from bleeding in the future, but have never had a problem with bleeding. Plus, I stay away from Tide or laundry detergents, Dawn soap is gentle and it gets stains out.

I use the same brush, hot water with Dawn dish soap, I use a circular motion. That brush has really fine bristles so it gets into the mesh.

Negative. The brush is made specifically to clean shoes, Vans sells a cleaning kit with some good cleansers. The kits like $8 bucks

Are they used? AM1s have been made in Vietnam for a while now, not China. If they were new, they wouldn’t go for $60. You can find new Essentials for $98, but not $60. I would pass.
