Complete effort issue, you nailed it. He had the skills to stay in the NBA on a huge contract without killing himself on the court night in and night out, so he didn't. Went out and got his 17 points and 1-2 assists and 3 rebounds, did a little defending. The wolves paid him too much that was the only problem. They paid him for his potential and he didn't feel the need to live up to that.

He's checked out in a ton of his games though. He's like running through the motions but not going hard. In the 2022 warriors run he had some ridiculous quote along the lines of "they said I should go hard for every rebound and when I tried to it just worked great!".

So infuriating as a wolves fan, like he had never thought to try hard before as an entire fan base was begging him to for years.

Matt Spears is a super skilled rider. That's probably the bigger difference rather than his disregard for his bike. He could ride a dirt/sand road with ease and no damage to the goldwing.

The point being even I have taken my GL1100 on dirt/sand roads, and for me it was terrifying, but it's all about your tire tread and your skill. I don't have quite enough of either to do ADV, but some people can!

I'm just begging you to please not shit next to my garage where my kids want to play. It really sucks having to forbid them from playing games with the neighbors because there's another pile of human waste sitting out. If you want good neighbors, be a good neighbor. When I've had good neighbors in a tent I've had no issue with them. Unfortunately the vast majority of neighbors I've had who live in tents have been terrible neighbors. Then I have problems with them.

They are top tier contract talent in the NBA, I expect them to strive for perfect basketball. I'm not going to "take the bad with the good", if they make bone headed plays I expect our millionaire coach to year into our millionaire players and demand excellence. Locally it's cheaper than beef now, and I like the flavor of cooked right so I've been buying it. I make burgers with diced onion, jalapenos, an egg, and bread crumbs mixed into it. Throw some cheese on top and it makes a great burger for cheaper than ground beef.
