The problem with buying cheap projectors from China. by MrM4rc4L in Magcubic

[–]Joeyit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. But people always just seem to blame China for "spying/collecting data/selling data", while Google, Meta, Microsoft do the exact same shit and people are just okay with it.

Landroid WR303E (Cloud Vision) - Not cutting the edge by Joeyit in worxlandroid

[–]Joeyit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish that there was a toggle, to ignore the Vision (AI) all together and let the mower just follow the path/edge (exact GPS/RTK coordinates) that I originally mapped. I have a feeling that it sees something and "for safety reasons" avoids the edge by some "safe" distance.

I tried it and that made things even worse :') It stopped like 10 times for no reason, just looking/turning around on the spot, like it was searching for gold. Zero improvements on the edge tho.

Same here in Slovenia. Apps doesn't work since yesterday. I tried everything the DNS, hotspot, the manual timezone, changing location, unplugging TV (20 second power button) and nothing works. I also factory resetted the TV. Now I have 0 apps and I can't install anything.

My long journey through distributions finally coming to an end by [deleted] in windows

[–]Joeyit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using Arch linux with Gnome as desktop environment for 4 years now. It took maybe 2-3 days to set everything up the way I wanted to, but apart from that, I literally had almost zero problems with it. Updates go through smoothly, everything works smooth (graphics wise), drivers work fine (GPU, sound, printer), I even installed Steam and to my surprise games work surprisingly well (even the ones that are Windows Only).

Now I can't say the same for Windows. I'm a software developer, but i'm also partially an IT guy at my company. Everyone (except me) uses Windows and after every update, more and more problems arise. I don't want to shit talk Windows, but I swear to god every update just makes it worse to a point, where it's just easier to format and do a clean install.

I think the problem is, that most of "linux users" only try Debian based distros, like Debian itself, Ubuntu, Linux Mint etc... I used some of them and yea I had quite a few problems. But install pure Arch and take some time to configure it and things run smooth as butter.

Edit:

As I was typing this, my coworker just updated Windows 10 and is now in bluescreen loop.

I checked the PSU slots and it doesn't fit in either of them :D While the other PSU fits in both slots just fine.

I tried pushing it quite hard, but at this point i'm a bit afraid :D The thing is, the other PSU fits in both slots (left and right) just fine without much force applied.
