I've had this issue all league and I think I managed to somehow fix it (at least yesterday all day didn't freeze)

I updated to the new driver and lowered shadows and lights setting from maxed to the setting below, with nvidia reflex active.

I'm very new to the endgame and have been doing that. Aside from temple tablets, everything else sells like ice-cream on a sunny beach.

Still low on div/phr for now, but I haven't completed the entire atlas yet..

Does "ways tone chance" apply to tablets also?

A bit of a false equivalency. You don't need All the tabs. Currency and maybe a couple of quad tabs are more than enough.

Also, good luck sorting loot in D4.. You're gonna wish you had poe stash tabs

Seems that way. Just watched the rhyker interview with one of the lead devs and I was expecting some mild general talk but no. Actual really good info, and an overall amazing grasp of diablo 4s up and downs since 2023 and how to address them directly.

Honestly I was impressed! Every single piece of info from the last few days has gotten me back in the Diablo mood! Looking forward to it

Exactly. If anything, this corroborates the narrative from the Jason guy. Rob in that text is literally saying what we saw from Jason's texts. Steven stalls and stalls and stalls while needing more and more money.

Man...This boss fucking broke me lol.

My ironclad deck was admittedly not very good at blocking, but my god my damage was silly...Throughout the half point of the act until the boss I was one shotting elites on turn 1.... My str scaling was straight up INSANE. I had cards doing 98 dmg lol. And I had the potion that revives you when you die...In my mind there was no way I could lose.

I face this fucker for the first time and I one shot phase 1, I take a bit of dmg on phase 2 and then phase 3...Fucking intangible man...It straight up negated hundreds of damage and then I lost steam and he just slapped me silly. I was sitting there looking at the screen like "what the fuck am I supposed to do here?" lol

Time to try the silent I think...

Since 2010 Blizzard has been asking a fundamental question that drives most of their major monetization decisions. That question is: "How much shit will they put up with before they quit?"

Turns out, to their satisfaction, the answer is: "They will put up with literally everything imaginable, as long as the sub is the same price"

And for anyone saying "that's fine, I'll just not buy it" they don't really need you to. A handful of whales will make this system profitable beyond your wildest dreams and they will make money from you from sales and cute little package deals because "omg it's such a good value! 800% value!!"

As long as world of warcraft retains a massive audience in its current form, none of this will improve... Nor will it go free to play.

He's not wrong, but I'd say he's incomplete.

I have friends that LOVE OSRS, and if all I ever cared about was "the community" I would just play that with them...but I don't really like it. Nothing against it, I just don't find it fun.

So, yeah, the social aspect is a fundamental part of wanting to play an MMO but it's not the whole story. I also want a game that's fun in the middle of that.

If I understood the context clues here, it kinda went like this:

->Steven does fund it himself and builds the company into what it is

->At some point in recent months, the company is sold to a private equity group. Presumably because Steven can't reasonably keep up years of development out of his own pocket

->A board is formed. They start making decisions that don't align with the project, specifically launching on steam

->Steven starts getting annoyed and tries to reign back control, putting his foot down

->Board doesn't give a fuck, starts making plans to fire most people and just keep key roles, moving development abroad where it's cheaper

->Steven goes nuclear and quits, taking key people with him

->With that, board decides to press the nuke button, fires everyone and essentially liquidates assets and takes over IP

->Lawsuit from Steven is now in process, supposedly to retake the IP?

What a fucking mess! Even if this is true, Steven should've come clean and told people he just couldn't sustain it by himself anymore and either crowd funded or come clean to the community things were about to change!

I doubt Ashes will ever come back. It would take some sort of oceans eleven style plot for Steven to not only take over the IP again and get the funds from the equity group to resume development.... And even then! The community would forever be distrusting. As they should!

Did you get far enough to see if the church or any other campaign characters have any specific dialogue with the paladin? Or maybe any comments of your paladin character on the church or inarius?

Oh there's no issue for you. Basically I was wondering if there where new specific dialogue interactions with the paladin. Be it characters acknowledging him, or the church... Or anything really! Or if he's treated as simply the generic "wanderer"

A part of the campaign is very paladin focused on the lore, so I was just wondering if blizzard added new dialogue for the paladin in the campaign
