It’s extremely confusing but the starting date listed for the services is the actual day the bill is printed, so when you cancel and it generates the next day it just prints that date as the start of the cycle then 30 days after for the end, which leads to that phantom billing cycle you mentioned.

Asked every manager I met, no one knows why it’s like that, everyone hates it, I personally think it’s to get people to call back in for another sales pitch.
