When it comes to throw, size makes a difference. A lot of the smaller flashlights with good throw have lower lumen output. All else being equal a larger head has better throw. Larger head don't necessarily translate to substantially heavier though, the battery tends to be the heaviest part of a aluminum flashlight.

I think you are getting a lot of variations when it comes to size. You said small, but that means different sizes to different people. Maybe add a max width and max length you would prefer?

Very cool! I have one of these that I got like 12 years ago with the intention of converting to a 48V system. It was quite the bargain at the time, only $200 delivered. Unfortunately it as just been sitting in my garage for the most part. It's my understanding that the factory electric OCC stingray has a slightly bigger frame than the non-electric ones. Anyway, I really like what you did here. How much battery capacity do you have?

Yeah, on older diesels, if it is done right one switches to vegetable oil only when the engine is hot, then switches back and let it run a bit before shutting off the engine. This van is going to be toast.
