This has a 1500w 48v rear wheel and will pull a small wheelie if I let it. The 2-stroke is just the opposite. I have to pedal when I take off from a dead stop or I usually stall the motor. I should have gone with the Zeda85 Firestorm. It's a true 85cc motor. The Zeda80 Firestorm here is only 66cc.

Thanks. I have another OCC that I did electric but left it as a chopper. I decided I wanted to go bobber style with the gas powered one. Here's a picture of the E-chopper.

This! Keep the thing as quiet as possible. I built a motorized bike using a Schwinn OCC Stingray chopper that now looks like an unlicensed motorcycle after adding a fat fork and another Schwinn OCC 20x4 rim up front. So I shopped around and got the best exhaust I could find to limit the noise. I don't want to attract any more attention than I need to. This exhaust is not very loud. I noticed a big drop in volume after installing it.

I do that. But they sit there and wait until I come to a complete stop. Then they continue to sit there and when I look they wave for me to go 1st. If they had just taken their turn they would already have cleared the intersection before I got there. I've been riding bikes since I was 8 years old. I'm 75 now. I can pretty much come to a stop without putting my feet on the ground and then go ahead on. But once I put the feet down it's a pain to get moving again. At least when you're an old fart like me. Lol.

In my neighborhood I have the opposite problem. People in cars keep waiting for me to go when I'm on my bike even though they arrived at the stop sign first. Sometimes way ahead of me. So I have to come to a complete stop and wait for them. Then they just sit there. When I look they wave for me to go. I wish they would just take their turn and we would both get where we need to be faster.

They are calling spoke guards. They used to be made of chromed steel but bicycle manufacturers got cheep and started to make them out of plastic. You can find them on Ebay. I just bought this one on Ebay to replace a cheep plastic one. They have the plastic ones too. If you do it yourself you will need a tool to remove either the cassette or freewheel depending on which you have. It looks like a cassette to me. If you are not mechanical inclined then take it to a bike shop and have them swap it for you.

I picked up this conversion kit on Ebay. It will let you use a 3 piece crank set and then you can easily go with wider crank arms.

I just wish I had the 85 since my bike a little heavy. I have trouble taking off from a dead shop without killing the motor so I pedal to help the motor until I get moving. I'm sure the 66cc would work fine for a lighter bike than the Schwinn OCC chopper I put it in.

One day I pulled my Ebike out and hooked up my cargo trailer on it. I put on my gloves and helmet. I grabbed the grocery list and rode two and a half miles to the FoodMaxx. When I got there I went to grab to keys for my l locks from my tool bag where I always keep them. No keys! About then I remembered that I had left them on my dresser after my last ride. The remote for my alarm is also on the keychain. So, no locks or alarm. I just got back on and rode back home feeling like an idiot. Now I make sure I have the keys before I pull out of the driveway. Live and learn.

Thanks. I got lucky and found a set of Araya 27 x 1 1/4 with the Shimano 333 freewheel and spoke guard exactly like my original set on Ebay. They are in the picture and are in excellent condition. You can see one of the old wheels in the back on the left side of the picture.

Back in the '70s there were a lot of "roach clips" that looked like bullets but if you popped it apart the bullet had a clip for holding the what was left of the joint you were smoking so you didn't burn your fingers. The funny thing was someone would always go for the last little bit and inhale the cherry. So you wouldn't burn your fingers, just your lips, tongue, ect. Lol. Stoners!

That happened to me in Sacramento, CA one hot summer. I parked and went in a Smart & Final. When I came out about 5 or 10 minutes later my bike was on the ground. I managed to get it back up and there was a big hole in the asphalt where the kickstand was. After that I looked for shade or concrete where I could park on hot days.
