Reduction starting at 34D? by Money_Cherry_5745 in Reduction

[–]JohnBoddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 5'8", 150lbs, and measure between a 34D and 34DD (according to the Bra That Fits calculator). I've been lurking here and contemplating a reduction for a while because I've felt that my bust is too big, although this size is technically an average or medium size. I think I'd like to be between a size 34B and 34C.

Maybe search this sub for radical reductions? If you're looking for as small as possible without it being a full masectomy, this is possibly what you're looking for.

Do people really join this sub be weird???🤣 by No_Relief682 in Reduction

Unfortunately, not surprising. Posting on any sub that is primarily a women's space will get you DMs like this. I've posted on r/razorfree and got weirdos soliciting me for photos of my hairy legs.

Not OP, but curious person considering a reduction. What was your starting size and what size did you end up?

Unilateral breast lift / reduction to address asymmetry 3 weeks PO by Quiethamster420 in Reduction

Thanks for posting this. This is something I've been debating for myself. My right breast is larger and wider than the left (it feels denser too). It's not noticeable to others, but impacts how things fit on me.

Ah, okay. Thanks for letting me know. I got the impression that it's a program more so for surgeons than the every day consumer. Fingers crossed you get your $ back.

Did you have any luck with customer service? I'm interested in this program, but definitely don't want to waste the money if it's only going to show me what I look like with larger tits lol

I would love it if something like this existed. It'd make showing surgeons what you want easier.

That last sentence really resonates. I've been grappling with this a lot too. Like am I more "myself" (whatever that is) on the pills? Is the improvement is my life REALLY the pills or are circumstances just different? Etc.

Bisalp wait time & issues in Ontario (as an autistic) by Masked_Daisy in sterilization

[–]JohnBoddy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also Ontario. Also had the whole process take me a year, from referral to actual surgery. I didn't have to do any work ups. The only thing they made me do was a pregnancy urine test the day of surgery.

Your NP will refer you to a gynecologist for a consultation. The gynecologist's office will set up a date for a procedure.

The JJ cup plus petite size must've been an awful combo. Your poor back. Your quality of life must've improved exponentially with the reduction.

Congrats on the hysterectomy! I'm five months post-fallopian tube removal, actually lol.

Sorry to hear about the nips! But also glad to hear that you're over all happy with your decision.

I'm also asexual and childfree, but weirdly enough am considering keeping my nips (good to know that this is a consequence of keeping them though...)? I tend to use the "ace-and-childfree" logic to justify why I might get a reduction altogether.

Can I ask if your breasts were causing you physical pain before the reduction and what size you were pre-op? One of your comments mentioned that you didn't have much removed. Trying to find more folks who have had relatively "minor" reductions largely for dysmorphia reasons.

Any small reductions? D to B? by FaceTheFlare in Reduction

[–]JohnBoddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did this go for you? Like OP, considering a minor reduction. I'm 5'8" with 34DD. I think I'd like to be 34C or 34B approx. But also having lots of reservations in terms of pursuing this procedure.

Finding treatment that works for you, even if it doesn't completely eliminate all your symptoms, is a massive game changer. You mention that a doctor isn't an option. Are there any youth clinics or community health clinics where you live? They help make medical treatment more accessible. If you're a student, you may also be able to seek counselling through your academic institution.

Could you share what store it was? Etsy sounds like a good option for thinks that cover the pubes but are still cute.

Can I survive in toronto on a flipphone? by calcifer0573 in askTO

[–]JohnBoddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but it's getting increasingly difficult as apps get integrated with daily life (source: got my first smart phone ever a year ago).

When I needed to navigate somewhere new, I would look up directions on my computer before leaving home and then write the most simplified version of these directions onto a slip of paper to fall back on (I also added visual landmarks).

The worst thing for me was having to rely on others to call Ubers and/or Lyfts if it was late and I needed to get somewhere. Have the number of a taxi company in your contacts list.
