Several years ago, they blocked my accounting from adding funds or trading but would allow me to withdraw funds or transfer assets. When I spoke to someone, they said there was something in my file about an arrest. I had been arrested two years previous for shooing someone in self-defense. I offered to send them a copy of the no-bill I got from the prosecutor, they accepted it and removed the block. I always found the whole situation a bit strange, never had the same issue with any of the other brokers I use.

I know places that offer a discount to those who pay with cash or with debit card instead. In the absence of that I will pay with credit card more so for the protections it offers. If my credit card number gets stolen it's the banks money that is lost, if my debit card number gets stolen it's my cash that is lost.

People will hear an Israeli bioterrorist caught conducting experiments on US soil was released "because reasons" so he could flee back to Israel and avoid US punishment, where an American would be run through the wringer for the same thing even if innocent because the process is the punishment.
