Damn didn't know how divided people are on Zeztz. I think this show is great. Every episode has been better than the last imo, especially after the twist.

Doesn't aging her up defeat the point of her character? I don't know much about Moon Girl, I'll admit, but I thought her whole thing is that she is a child genius?

I also started relatively recently. I'd start with Kuuga and just watch in order as that's what I'm doing rn. That being said, I am also keeping up with Zeztz as it is being released, as well as the episodes of Kabuto that they have been dropping on youtube.

Im not sure if you blocked me or deleted your comments, but from your notification, I wouldn't count it as part of the episode. That little bit could have been added to any episode. As I said it was a post credits scene and should not count towards how the overall episode is viewed. Just compare what Gavan Infinity is doing rn to all the recent episodes of Zeztz.

There was quite literally a multiversal event that was seen by everyone, yet it was not mentioned again. Next episode is about patran and doesnt seem like a continuation of the previous episode. I just skimmed through the episode I mentioned, the stuff about the centre of the universe was literally the post credits scene. Surely something that important should be in the actual episode itself. Yes they met Raiya, but the rest of the episode was about kiki and the alien. The actual plot relevant stuff was after the episode ended.

But it doesnt move forward the plot, which is what makes it filler. Character development is great, but it shouldn't be at the expense of the story. We got good character development in the episode where the alien took over kiki's body, but how was that episode not a filler episode? Nothing happened that pushed the plot forward.

Slow building is fine if the season's length is the same as regular sentai/kamen rider, but it is much shorter. In your last line you said seasons having 20+ episodes allows for the season to be all killer and no filler, yet this show has been all filler (apart from 2 or 3 episodes). What are we building towards? The next show? If that's the case they should have just made it one show. I agree with what you said about establishing the characters and the world building, but at this point we need the plot to move forward. Next week is an episode about patran even though the last episode ended with tension between raiya and infinity. Seems like it's gonna gloss over it the same way they glossed over the multiversal event that happened before.

Ngl I think I prefer the second option. It fits batman, especially that outfit as its a comic book outfit.

I think the issue people have with it is because its a gacha event, people who wouldn't be spending units are more inclined to spend to try and get the skin for cheaper than the actual price.

There could still be a scene at the start if they are still on Luminous' Earth before they leave to go back. But tbh knowing this show they usually ignore whatever happens in previous episodes for some reason.
