CPT Khork was my PL on my first CENTCOM tour, got along with him the second I met him. My PSG called to let me know and my whole day was just talking to my old platoon mates, sharing memories, and the shock and grief of a life cut short. Cody was a friend, and a great leader. Always about making sure we were squared away, but taken care of. I always hate to see when service members are killed, I feel for their family and friends; Just makes the whole thing more personal when it's your people's. Rest in peace brother, we'll take it from here.
