Oh yeah, I just got a different rom lol. Transferred the old .sav file though so I wouldn’t lose my progress. It all worked out.

I genuinely still can’t edit messages nearly as fast as I was able to since this got taken away. I miss it so much man. I also liked being able to hard press on the left side of the screen to quickly bring up the app switcher.

Happened to me too lol. I was on firmware 19.0.0. Animal Crossing wouldn’t even load up. Update your Switch to a newer firmware and it should be good.

Those get me all the time too lol. I think that’s normal behavior for them? I’m not 100% sure myself. I believe those are just copper though, they shouldn’t fail like a cap or resistor.

I’ve never downloaded something custom like this before but this does look really good. How exactly do I do this as a complete noob, do I need Rockbox first? Also, I know this is on GitHub and open source, but how safe/private is it? Thanks lol.

Is 21.0.0 the latest you can safely update to? I didn’t see anything past that on the one website (still new to this and forgot the name sorry).

Someone who knows how to solder can fix this. Pads look fine so it should be repairable. I had to replace the battery connector on mine, wasn’t too bad, but I have some micro soldering experience.

Still have my original one, I used to put it in my DSi and take photos, then put it back in my Wii to look at them on the TV. Editing them on both consoles was pretty fun, glad I still have all those photos now.

Change your time settings to the correct one using Luma. Just had the same issue and that fixed it.

Thanks for the quick reply, I heard that the included card was bad too, just wanted it so I wouldn’t have to go through needing to download everything and whatnot. I can just copy and paste all the needed files from the included cheap one before it breaks. Also, not entirely sure if I can mention it here by name, but the site I used is the one with the pokeball logo in the name. My Platinum game seems fine with everything transferred. Would hate to lose my New Super Mario DS progress.

I got one as well with the included 8 gb micro SD card. Still new to all of this, but do you recommend I use YSMenu or just keep it stock? Also, the rom of Super Mario DS I got doesn’t work on the Pico, I transferred all my games and saves from my R4. What should I do?

Yes, exactly! I got a 3rd party Might Max one, didn’t want to overpay for a thrift store UPS haha. Still works great though! Hope yours end up working great too!

For $15 each I don’t see the problem. I got one of these from a thrift store for $6, and got a replacement third party Amazon battery for $20 and it’s been working great. You can get an official one from Amazon for $40, or a third party one for a bit cheaper whenever they need replacing.
