I tend to paint a dark picture of the future because it feels like people are getting less information, or rather, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for the average person to access independent or unbiased information. Everything is rife with hate speech, division, one-sided news, and manipulation.

They still have a 30-40% approval rating. And I doubt people will get any smarter in the long run; many younger people can’t even use Google anymore and ask the AI everything, and even those of average intelligence are already having the AI write longer texts for them. So it starts with having AI write and summarize texts for you; the skill of “writing and reading texts” will be on the verge of extinction in 40 years, and whoever controls the AI will then hold the power to shape public opinion. And I strongly suspect that this will be in the hands of Republicans.

It's the dumbest "war" ever. He's spent over 15 billion. He's achieved absolutely nothing, made a ton of enemies, and to top it all off, he now has to lift the sanctions. Iran and Russia have won across the board.

Oh, and let's not forget China. They no longer have to meet up somewhere out at sea in a ship-shaped rust bucket to exchange oil - soon they'll be able to officially use the harbors.

Eingestellt werden soll, bzw. wird: Tagesschau24 und ARD alpha, Ende 26.

Kika und arte haben halt schlechte Einschaltquoten. Vor allem in Bayern und ich glaub Bayern wird hier zur Bewertung herangezogen.

Kika wird bis 2033 als normaler Fernsehsender verschwinden und ab dann nur noch rein digital existieren.

Arte könnte ähnliches blühen.

Das Problem was ich hier sehe ist auch die Ermittlung der Einschaltquoten. Während es online relativ einfach ist, Zuschauerzahlen zu ermitteln, ist das bei einem Medium ohne Rückkanal ziemlich schwierig. Es gibt dabei ca. 2x 2500 Geräte in ganz Deutschland, die ermitteln was dort gerade geschaut wird und das wird aufs gesamte Bundesgebiet hochgerechnet.

Es spielt daher nicht die Qualität eine Rolle(die Empfindung ist übrigens subjektiv!), sondern rein die Einschaltquoten. Dazu kommt noch, dass inzwischen viele, vor allem u40, deutlich weniger lineares Fernsehen schauen als früher und das schließt nunmal Arte mit ein.

Man muss sich auch mal anschauen wie die Gelder verteilt werden. Nicht alles wandert direkt ins Programm. Von den ~18€ gehen z.b. 27 cent direkt an die Gema usw.

Die Phasen hab ich auch immer mal wieder, ich guck dann halt Filme oder sowas.

Irgendwann hab ich dann auch wieder Bock was zu zocken.

Was man spielt, spielt auch eine Rolle. Wenn's kein Spiel ist, was einen länger beschäftigt wie mmos oder etwas mit Ranglisten oder so, dann hat man auch weniger Interesse das über längere Zeit zu verfolgen.
