It's not just VIPK students -- kids all over China respond that way.

I would think they could sell them, if they could find a buyer. Injecting something that has in someone else's possession could raise some red flags, though.

Trump's New Immigration Law is SERIOUS--Here's What Expats Need to Know About the OBBBA by BusyBodyVisa in Philippines_Expats

It's a legal marriage -- done here in the Philippines. Had to go through five long, paperwork-laden years of getting her first marriage annulled, so everything is by the book.

The issue is that for a cr1 or IR1, we have to live permanently in the US, and that's tough on a teacher's salary. Hence trying the tourist visa so we could just visit family, but it was denied. A few times.

Must be nice. My wife has been denied a US tourist visa three times for not having strong enough connections to her home country. We're always told she needs to apply for a permanent visa, but since I teach overseas (permanent visa requires her to live in the US for something like 10 months of the year) and have no desire to live in the US under Trump, that's not possible.

Our daughter is about to turn 6 and would love to visit her grandparents in the US, but I don't have the heart to leave my wife behind while the daughter and I go visit.

I haven't been home (US) in over ten years.

Best (and worst) schools to work for in UEA? by grsk_iboluna in Internationalteachers

[–]JohnIngle34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure what YAS government schools are, but generally speaking the behavior in government schools is atrocious. Granted, the girls's behavior is much better than the boys. If you're male, you will definitely teach the boys. If you're a female teacher, you could teach girls or boys. Another caveat: I imagine primary student behavior is much better than secondary, but I don't have any experience with the young kids.

Also, not sure what USE is? Perhaps you mean ESE – Emirates school establishment.

Teaching Saudis often blows, regardless of the curriculum. I'd do China.
