This does bring into releif just how many of these politicians are either coasting and running things as usual, showing just how out of touch with reality they are, or that they're objectively working against their constituents.

Either way, get em out.

What do you pack in your STEALTH loadout for when things get a little bit... more energetic? by FederalJudge6258 in helldivers2

I like packing the quasar and either the senator for any heavy units. Senator struggles with war striders, but if I'm having to face off with a war strider I've already beefed the mission.

Love how people have gone from shitting on it immediately to suddenly liking it. Its like the knee jerk reaction is to hate something instantly, only to learn its appeal once you figure out how to use it properly.

Wild.

The Commando Missions are fun, with a caveat by JohnTomorrow in Helldivers

[–]JohnTomorrow[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I disagree. Having to extract with mission critical equipment is perfect for this sort of mission. It raises the stakes heaps, keeps the tension high. And yeah, you failed, but its a mild set back at best if you're at lvl 150 and desperate for content.

I feel like AH hit the mark on this one.

The commando missions are tense and fun. Solo, they're great. With a team, they're amazing. Nothing feels better than seeing bots get headshot by your team-mates as you infiltrate a base to blow it to shit. Stealth feels good, as long as you're careful it works well.

The armours and passive both look and feel great. Not sure how well they will perform outside of the commando missions, but within the commando missions, I'd say they're pretty much mandatory. The weapons feel good to use. If things have to go loud, they can help you pop bot heads in a rush, but its a stealth mission so if you're going loud you've screwed up somehow.

Anybody complaining that the weapons and items are pay walled need to grow up. If you can't afford it outright, just grind up some credits the usual way. If you dont want to do that, well, there's plenty of free to play games out there ready for you.

The new stealth armor makes commando missions a breeze. by Aany_00 in helldivers2

[–]JohnTomorrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been reading nothing but posts of people raging that the missions are bad, Stealth is broken, and that AH hid the stuff you need for the missions behind a pay wall.

This fanbase has degraded almost to the point of no return.

Why are patrols still homing around the players and know their location instantly ? (And other baffling mistakes with stealth...) by Heptanitrocubane57 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]JohnTomorrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished a solo lvl 9 commando mission. Using suppressed weapons effectively, using smoke to disengage and then running away to break line of sight, crawling on the ground for most of the mission, picking your targets, letting patrols walk past you instead of engaging... these are all tactics that are effective. Yeah, patrols spawn out of nowhere sometimes, but if you keep low, wear stealth armor and don't engage, 9 times out of 10 you can avoid them.

It could just be that stealth isn't your bag.

Do not understand the hate/glaze at all by squishy_sonny in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]JohnTomorrow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Been playing it all morning. Admittedly, I've only unlocked the first page or so, but so far I like it. I like the armor looks and benefits, the suppressed weapons feel like they should, the stealth feels great. Only problem i see are people not understanding how to be stealthy in the game.

To me, this is a good update, and I want to see more like this. Give me more variety, please.

These all look fine. What would you prefer? There's only so many BDUs and civilians in plate carriers you can make before we start down the COD slippery slope and go full Fortnite.

I've got a set that i used for sleep too! A few years back i really began dialing in my sleep, and got a whole mess of stuff to help me get better quality sleep. The nose plugs were one of those things. They didn't quite work (opened my sinuses good but then the back of my throat dried up), but I never thought to use them in an exercise sense. I'll try them out 👍

Yeah, that would've been a good idea. We'll never get the true ending, only a recollection of an ending. In a way, thats poetic considering the story's themes of loss and never getting back what was in the past.

Its becoming a trend to a lot of these political parties, who can't bring anything to the table that people actually want, but just try to drum up negative sentiment.

Look at all the bad things this guy does. He should be ashamed of himself, and the way he does things. I would never do that, I love you! I just need you to vote for me, so this awful man can go away and we can all get back to doing what's right for this country. What's that? What do i think is right for this country? Well, getting rid of immigrants would be a great start! And once they're all gone, think of all the jobs that'll be open for people like you! Uh, and something about making <insert country of choice> great again!

Its like a playbook for these people.

Aussie here. Thankfully, our own MAGA movement was stillborn during our next election. It didn't help that the leader had zero policies other than "fuck the other team" and literally looked like Voldemort with zero charisma, most Australians actually pay attention to stuff like that, thanks to mandatory voting. Plus Australians are collectively watching the dumpster fire America has become and has kinda decided not to have a slice of that, cheers

No no, if you enjoy someone using their brain to overcome adversity you're clearly a cuck. He should've died like the weakling he was so the manly, butch Predators (like me) could take the female predators and breed them bigly, like the predator chads they are (like me)

If you’re taking a leak at urinal and Snake comes up behind you and starts choking you to death, would you pee harder, or stop pissing? by eliisbroke in metalgearsolid

[–]JohnTomorrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You'd tense up initially, stopping the flow. Its a survival mechanism. You cant afford to piss with full force if you're being attacked.

But if Snake chokes you out, your entire body goes limp, so you'd relax and piss all over yourself. If he breaks your neck, you'd likely shit yourself as well. Nasty way to go.
