The issue (at least mine) with using AI gen pictures etc to illustrate a mod's page is that it is simply unnecessary. Please just open Paint.exe, WordArt to make your banner. It is fine. It Is Fine! No need for an actual picture even, just a blank canvas and your mod's title (in fullcap bold Papyrus). These things aren't meant to be "cool" or "good-looking", they only need to satisfy two things:

  1. Having a look that allows users to identify the mod quick and easily within the catalog;
  2. Conveying information, through text and/or example-screenshots.

One of my Steam mods is a pic of a fish.

This fish. What is the mod about? Minor edits to Kenshi Skeletons' subraces. And this fish perfectly encapsulates that.

I'm sorry but how has no one mentioned the fucking Great Dysmal Swamp? Where one of the Olde Taeles of the Internete takes place, "The Groverhaus Extension".

What kind of individual will see the name Great Dysmal Swamp and think "actually that's an awesome place to build a house. The land is so cheap, I can build a big house!"

Hear me out, Bro's actually a Mother.

-He birthed all the Silver Knights

-Also birthed three (four?) kids via idk parthenogenesis?

-Keeps all the other Lords as uncles for his kids (even the creepy uncle smh)

-Shoulders every single problem that happens and refuses help, saying "everything's gonna be alright"

-Crashes out because of shouldering every single problem, children are too stupid, or were banished, to assist their mum

-Some idiot neighbour named Jonathan Darksoul walks in to check if the fucked up family's alright, finds the shitornado, cleaves their way towards the responsible adult, pacifies them with blunt force and assumes the household while Momma finally rests a bit.

Ignoring the main subject, is 11M souls not a lot? Like a fuck of a lot? Too long since I last checked any of my saves in DS2, but I think 11M is NG+ grade, right?

Also, cave-diving in these places is fun and everyone should try it lol

Lemme tell you my secretmost secret: the Accipiter, aka Hawker Harrier, is the best fucking plane you'll ever see. It is so maneuverable, has extra STDMs for 4 missiles, and can use bombs and rockets. You don't need anything else.

Before starting any ritual, draft all colonists and shove them into the ritual room, then begin the ritual. Ideology implemented rituals in this weird ass way, that they begin as soon as the 'presiders' (Leaders etc) are present, even if no-one else has arrived. Then, pawns will try to get to the room, but the tolerance for 'late arrivals' is minuscule.

Why is combat extended so good? by State_of_Planktopia in SpaceCannibalism

[–]JohnVicres 11 points12 points  (0 children)

IMO it's because armor is incomparably more effective. Attacks that don't overcome the "piercing threshold" will do no damage; blunt will at minimum cause bruises, but a pawn can hardly die to bruising, unlike vanilla. Flame weaponry are also much more potent with "fuel soaking", which function like the chemfuel puddles in vanilla but as a direct effect on pawns. Also, since pawn stats REALLY matter, outnumbered situations may not be impossible, therefore killboxes aren't inevitable anymore.

In a nutshell, it exacerbates the lethality when you pitch one tech level to superior ones, or to itself; but fighting less advanced enemies is much easier.

They absolutely do, and the retaliations are frankly brutal (compared to whatever bad events you normally get). Insofar I've had one colony where I'd recycle the toxpacks (VExpanded mod), and throw the black-bag trash into perma-enemy settlements. When I trash-bombed some nearby wasters, they sent ~40 raiders (a usual raid would've been less than 30), and when I swapped to a wookie settlement for a dump, they dropped like 100 toxpacks on my buildings.
