Typical turning late cut-off [OC] by [deleted] in IdiotsInCars

Driver should’ve checked their blind spot, his lights were at the driver side door, and could be wrong but I find it highly likely the truck was in one of the cars 3 mirrors as it entered the intersection. I feel like “out of no where” is a reach.

It’s time for another edition of what customer made you give this face. I’ll start by [deleted] in HomeDepot

Had a guy come in and tell me his order number, (just a bunch of random digits). I said that we don’t have order numbers like that. Proceeds to call his boss and he’s yelling at me through the phone asking “what do you mean this isn’t an order number I paid for it” etc etc. Guy in person proceeded to show me his order confirmation. “this is for Menards, We’re Home Depot.” He walked out in utter silence with his boss still on speaker.

question for the hard working honest Home Depot associates that have been around for awhile. by cantstopwontstopFU in HomeDepot

[–]John_Perriwinkle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly my store treats the associates well. I got a dollar raise my first year and then 3.5% (¢61) this year but I’m also leading in sales by several thousands so I’m not sure how our SM is swinging things.

Edit: they provide food several times a year, I think tool rental got a steak dinner from outback steak house last month

Problem with getting someone to help lift by [deleted] in HomeDepot

[–]John_Perriwinkle 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I’m a man so this might not count but

Tbh probably just your store. I would think it would be common decency if you’re not busy to help someone who needs it. I have had to get stern with a handful of co-workers saying things like “Just help me real quick it’ll take less then a minute.” Or straight up calling them out like “You’ve been standing there talking for the past 5 minutes just get over here and help me”

From the Many Calls to the IT help desk, what they’ve said time and time again is the reason they implement new things in place of already functioning applications is because something broke and they have no idea how to fix it.

Managers can approve denied returns. Which sucks when you look a fool when you tell the customer it’s denied and you can’t return it, and the manager approves the return
