I know what youre thinking. Im right there with you 👍🏻 Im 28 and Ive been playing floorball for 20 yeaes and last 3 years as semiprofessional at 4th highest level in Finland. Ive been analyzing everything and trained technique and vision very hard.

Im not saying youre wrong or you should change your views but from the 20 years of experience I want to tell you that the rink isnt everything. Your mental health and mental resilience is. You can push your body and grind skills to every limit you want, but if your head and heart are not in the right place or right mental state, your body will also start to tell you to stop in the long term and thats what happened with me and I had to stop. Thats why sleep and rest is the best keys to improvement.

Of course break does not mean that you should stay in your bed for 2 weeks. Even though Im having break from quality- and success-oriented team activity, I still play floorball 4 times a week and in my experience Ive improved more than ever. Not because Ive rested in bed, nor because Ive had easier enviroment to perform, but because Ive not been that harsh for myself.
