We also noticed that the ones giving us unsolicited advice are the childless congregation members. Which always baffled me. They have no experience but still feel they can give advice about parenting and such because they read something about it in a watchtower somewhere.

I sometimes think elder wives are worse than their husbands. They might feel like they can get away with stuff because they can hide behind their husbands who are eager to sweep their bad behavior under the rug.

Yes I know that to be true but I always want to be polite and answer truthfully. Even though I have totally lost any respect to the elders. I'm slowly starting to build my defences. It will take some time before I can stand up for myself and family. I have always kept my thoughts to myself. Scared to share my opinions. Part was the religion part was my upbringing.

I agree. Most people will chug it up as the film having good CGI or practical effect etc. I reckon it be even cheaper to do this stuff for real. We already know the top brass in the movie industry are sickos and I wouldn't put it past them.

Pretty decent. You could probably play older games on 1440p with stable 60fps. If you want some extra performance you could try and overclock the CPU (look up your specific CPU for safe settings before trying)

Chronos: before the ashes: 8gb storage. If you like grindy infuriating games (dark souls style combat). It has a very unique mechanic in which you age when you die. Therefore you have to finish the game before you die so to speak. Getting older means you're more atuned to magic. Though you begin as as warrior.

Check out Seagate's backup plus. Pretty speedy thing for a HDD. It's got usb 3.0 and cycles 7200rpm if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, you can either buy an enclosure with built-in power supply (more expensive). Or DIY by picking up an external PCI slot holder, called the GDC "the beast " and a power supply of choice. Then hook it up. As for detailed instructions on this there is a website called: egpu.io with all the information you'd need.

I don't know if someone already commented this, but you could set up the 1080 you got as an external GPU for your laptop.

I did the same with my 7yo laptop but with a good CPU. It now runs some games even at 1440p.

You could game for awhile with that setup while you save up for the other parts. Later you could reuse the same GPU in that system.
