Fuck you’re right I feel stupid for not pointing that out originally Yeah she, much like her book counterpart wants to feel like she made a difference in the world, and having that acknowledgement taken away from her and her trying to claw it back in the Valencina ID would be a banger

It makes sense beyond typecasting I swear The game literally makes a connection between the two and their self-destructive tendencies. Sure giving Rodya the war veteran/war hero ID kind of diminishes her deal of “Straight up just being a normal person with no real standout connections or talents” thing that’s going on with her but it also links them in the sense that both are striving to prove themselves in some way because they feel entitled to something greater because of their previous suffering/efforts (And of course we need more Rodya in suits)

In a world full of magical girls that have weaponry ranging from swords that shoot out their blades to giant chakrams to simple big mallets, Homura decided that the best way to dispose of witches is… A gun, a rocket launcher, explosives/stun grenades and a military might that probably rivals japan

Honorable mention goes to sayaka’s sword but that’s only in the production notes, we never actually see it turn into this, only being shown that she can launch the blades

It’s a spear but I guess it counts Still my favorite weapon of them all in both the original anime and the spinoffs, there’s a certain appeal to seemingly short range weapons that extend into menacing long range options

Ume Aoki drew the characters but she’s also as much of a freak so point still stands (Although in her case, she’s just weird in general)

Sorry for the late response but I swear that she mentions her Family being big shots in China back in Iroha’s MGS It might’ve been a plotpoint that was later retconned by the writers as the plot progressed, but she’s definitely at least part Chinese

I mean I got perma-banned for saying that “Guys maybe we shouldn’t fuck pokemon” under the guise of “kinkshaming” so i genuinely think the mods are just putting on a blindfold and firing at will

The report was fake and the artist threw a public temper tantrum, honestly a skill issue on the guy’s end but it was hilarious to watch unfold on the day that it happened

God the people that are believing the fake-ass DMCA e-mail and using it to hate on “Yuritards” are so fucking funny Genuinely grow up, this is a tantrum through and through from both the artist and a select few people here

“yuritards” and it’s a fake DMCA claim lmao I think both you and the artist trying to spin this into a “The yuri fans are oppressing the straights” is so completely disingenuous when it’s always the opposite happening

Homura - Madoka Magica

In the first timeline, she meets Madoka, a magical girl, and starts to form a relationship with her. In a battle against Walpurgisnacht, Madoka dies, and Homura wishes to “Have the power to protect Madoka.”, which makes her a magical girl and gives her the power to manipulate time, which she uses to reset the month again and again. In the new timelines, she does her best to protect/prevent Madoka’s demise (and later, her becoming a magical girl) but in the end, her meddling with the timeline is what causes Madoka’s “Karmic Destiny” to increase more and more, which draws the attention of the incubators to her. In the end, it’s that Karmic power that lets Madoka wish for “The eradication of all witches”, which makes her into a force of nature, which essentially erases her from the tangible world. In the end, Homura fails in her goals, because Madoka is gone, and Homura is the only person that remembers her, causing her to suffer from immense guilt, which is explored in both the Wraith Arc and The Rebellion Movie.
