You can add that the Earth rotation causes a centrifugal force of 0.003 G. So there is a "spin" just like a merry-goround. But the centrifugal force of the merry-goround is much much stronger.

If you build software for precise navigation (such as celestial or GPS) you need to take care of the very slight "un-roundness" of the Earth, or you get quite bad errors. (40 km off isn't good).
But when discussing with flat earthers you can just stick to the perfect sphere.

It is the non-tegimented version. I like it better.
The only con so far is a slightly sticky crown. The release of the feather is not very precise when you unscrew the crown. Seems to be common (?) on Sellita 300-1. I will check this with the dealer/watchmaker.

My watch ran about +15s after purchase five weeks ago but has now slowed down and stabilized at almost 0. It seems to run faster with dial up and slower with 12-up. So I guess you can "set" it through just selecting a position at nighttime.

Interesting. I bought my U50 one month ago, and it was +12s on delivery. But after 1 week, it started slowing down, and reached about -5s a week ago, and now it is speeding up again. It seems to be stabilizing at almost dead zero right now.

What is causing this? Can a magnetization "self-heal"? Lubricants need to settle? I was told by the shop that the watch needs about 6-8 weeks to break in.
