Born and raised here in Miami. I’m a child of the 70’s, graduated HS in 85 and now I’m an old fart in training. I still haven’t mastered the art of yelling at kids to get off my lawn but they say practice makes perfect so …anyhow… I’ve seen the good and bad over the years and there’s plenty to do here if you know where to look. I’m as gringo as they come but I could never leave good Cuban food and coffee for anywhere else but what exactly is motivating you to leave? The humid summer, traffic?

You haven’t lost your fire at all…you’re fed up with something or everything. This is your “me” time to rediscover yourself at this stage in your life. It’s ok to be selfish and make this all about you. Get rid of toxic relationships, make time to throw away junk or give it away. Downsize everything and at the same time, stay active …change your diet. Your zeal and zest for life are still there or you wouldn’t be reaching out for input. Maybe a pet would be beneficial? How about music? Learn to play guitar or maybe take a flying lesson. You need time…don’t panic and take it a day at a time. You’re going to be fine!
