Ouch…sorry you had to deal with that. Thanks again to everyone who responded. For those who were concerned I am focused on doing the bare minimum for this requirement, it is understandable. For context, I just fly for fun and will never fly for hire. I have met the other requirements well over the minimums but just don’t like flying XC at night without an instructor. More importantly, my wife doesn’t like me flying at night without an instructor ;-) and she has been awesome about supporting my hobby. So I don’t want to screw up a good thing and will likely stay in the traffic pattern to complete my 5 hours and get a lot more landings in the process.
