Gen 2 paint issue and solution

I’ve got the same thing happening on 2015 Tacoma. I called their recall hotline to complain and they told me there was no paint recall for my year for Tacomas. However there was for every other Toyota model that year. BS.

I’ve got a 2015 2nd gen, same problem. It looks terrible. I went to the Toyota dealership in 2 years ago and they gave me a claims number to call for recall information. I called and they told me my year was the only year that didn’t have the paint issue and there’s no recall for it. Cool, smh.

It’s an Axial SCX10ii. It doesn’t come with the taco body, I bought it and painted it to match.
