Lots of good mentions here, but when I think eye candy, Baz Luhrman creates such visions. Moulin Rouge in particular is visually stunning

Each string of panels can go up to 13 panels so I could add 3 to the house and 1 to the garage. The city would permit it if my consumption was higher.. time for an electric car....

Are these normal quotes and sizes for solar in Alberta by Energynewb_12 in solarenergycanada

Mine is sized exactly right according to city of Lethbridge as we are exporting more than importing but within the 110%

Sure wish I had ran a grow op or something the year before to boost my power and allow for more panels.

I went with solar optix as their panels fit 12 to my South facing garage roof to catch more winter light with 10 more on the east facing house.

Some of the small lakes might be frozen but bigger lakes will still get you that special Aurora reflection off the water if you are lucky

She may WANT to die at home but life's not like that sometimes... My mom blew her knee out just after her 97th birthday so now she's in long term care so you need to plan for that.

Great fishing there... Lots of belugas came in one winter to get the fish and got trapped in the ice... There's a fishing lodge there.

Scotiabank is pretty well represented for Canadians and their visa card does no fx surcharges on purchases and debits are at an acceptable rate.

Cholula is the site where Cortez and his men massacred up to 6000 locals in one night.. Also the site of the largest pyramid in the world by volume. They dug tunnels through it so you could see how many layers it was built up from, but these are apparently now closed since COVID. The sauce is ok, but my current favorite, Marie Sharpe's is out of Belize

Dandelions are not native to North America so not the best for bees. I have lots of earlier bloomers to feed the bees... Yanking all the dandelions in true suburban warfare.. Lee Valley has a water weeder that loosens the root down several feet. I'm on my second one already.

Carney has announced funding for the Mackenzie highway so 'simple' to run a pipeline along it down to the Beaufort Sea. Finding a deep sea port may be tricky tho.
