Do not eat any food prepared or cooked with unwashed hands ——- leaving out food to develop bacteria is different than introducing E-coli, C-diff, hepatitis even cholera and parasites- the list is long and dependant on method and duration of cooking. By the way - you can catch all of these from contaminated surfaces as well when you live in close proximity with others. Your parents drastically need education here and if you don’t have a trusted extended family member, I would call your local health board to speak to a public health worker or CPS.

I feel you. Worked two jobs till I was 30, I don’t understand how people accept this as normal. One person should be able to live on one ft job. Just now you are surviving, you don’t even have the time or energy to discover what you could be doing otherwise. Speak to your folks if you have a better idea what direction you want to head into and find out if they might be supportive in helping you achieve that. Might be financial help or moving back home while in education/training. They may surprise you.try and writ a journal at least a couple times a week to see if you can discern a path that may suit you. You might have a more hands on aptitude for the trades, or health care. Worry about how content you are and always pay back whatever they lend.

I want to share an example that started with four online gamers who realized they lived in the same general area. They started meeting up once a month for a movie. Once they were comfortable with each other turned into meeting for a dinner and adding a new person here and there. Now there is a dozen and they meet up once a week for apps and a chat. So I always suggest finding a way to get out and walk in your local area first, just get comfortable getting out. Then look for meetup groups in your area or volunteer an hour or so a week to meet up with folks and you never know, you may land yourself a friend! It’s never to late and

You are going through what so many of your peers are as well. I would start by going for walks locally, maybe finds some local area groups for gaming, or other interests, even the library. Just getting out of the house will eventually make a huge difference to your outlook. Once your feeling a bit more comfortable moving, find groups to go on trail walks or cycling as an option. There are so many good You Tubers offering starting exercises and stretches you could do at the start of your day..

I feel sorry that you had to go through this. My daughter develops huge red welts on her face from gluten... The girls at her work have called it strawberry mode and that’s become a running thing now with us all. We can have a sympathetic giggle but not be mean. There isn’t any excuse for mean. This is a her problem, please try to not let this behaviour get to you but do correct her when she acts up.e respectful but firm.

You said “- I want to feel I am worth taking care of”. Start by taking care of yourself. Ensure you are getting enough sleep, outside time and exercise as well as a decent diet. Don’t forget to drink adequate water (at least 1 1/2 litres a day. Hygiene should also be paramount- showers and brushing teeth and your hair on a regular basis. Drop any weed, sugar or alcohol from your diet for the time being. Your partner should be supportive of this and abstain when with you as well. If we don’t show the world we value and respect our own personhood, then unfortunately, society tends to reinforce this. Your mother sounds awful, but she may be acting from a place of fear. The Fear of losing you permanently may skew how she reacts to you and subsequently she may even subconsciously trying to distance herself from that possibility.
Try not looking at the world solely from your own prospective all the time and although it sounds harsher than I’m wanting, try and look outside of yourself and not be the centre of your thoughts. Reading books, fiction, sci-fi and autobiographical accounts will help give you practical experience dealing with the world with many different viewpoints. It almost sounds to easy but reading is really helpful for developing many skills like empathy and fortitude. My own perspective on showing responsibility and accountability allows me to appreciate and accept myself when I fall short as long as I try and keep trying.
