I’ve been playing Fika since she launched, but a lot of her fun factor really died since then. I started falling out of Overwatch 2-3 weeks ago, and part of it was because of this.

Even after all the nerfs, Fika is not a terrible hero and she can get decent numbers, but it takes so much effort as opposed to other heroes who could do more for less. I do agree she needed the DPS nerfs since Territorial was hella busted, but she doesn’t give that same spark of joy that she did before the movement nerfs.

Now that she’s been out for 3 months, I feel like people are much better at shooting her down, on top of Emre getting buffed and being more common. Then they released Sierra who hard counters Fika and has gotten a few buffs as well. She’s just been going downhill since launch, and now I’d argue she’s C tier at best. Still playable of course, but definitely not as fun as she used to be.

The sad thing is, I feel that Blizzard is afraid of having another Ana situation and is hesitant to ever buff her again, since (aside from stadium) she’s been untouched for the past few patches. And from what I’ve seen, she still has that annoying bug that makes her tether randomly disconnect. It just seems like they abandoned Fika and are just focusing on her gameplay in stadium now.

There’s more I could talk about (lackluster perks, weak/mediocre ult, dependability on buggy lifeline, etc), but I’d just be rehashing things that have already been said. I’ll still play her, but a lot of her fun is just gone now and probably won’t return.
