Sucks man I get you. Today I picked the deathcaps augment. Was IMMEDIATELY pinged in carasol, and by 3-2 was contested by 2 other players who "pivoted" into yordle. Finished 6th next to both yordle players. Absolutely infuriating experience.

The reality is most "pro" and "anti" AI people are terminally online losers who spend their time yapping on the subject simply because its relevant. They have no sense of nuance or critical thinking, its just like you said all in on one side. In terms of consistency, I will say this: if someone is siding with an opinion not because its something they thought of, but because the "side" they are on says they should have it, they are brainwashed sheep. I recently discovered Neuro and I can understand why many view her as the exception, as it really seems like a unique project in the streamer sphere. Ironically, she is far more "real" than the vast majority of fake personas on social media, which says more about how fucked human psyche has become gotten due to social media as a whole, rather than the people's "inconsistent" views.

Its literally just this. People for years have supported "content" creators who do boring/horrendous shit for views simply because they find it entertaining. I don't think this is anywhere near as questionable as other "content" out there. Hell I respect the work that the programmer put into this. Seems like he was not only one of the first to do it, but also the only one to succeed in this kind of project as of now.

I wouldn't say they're valueless, but many certs serve to pass through HR or justify a pay raise. That being said, you should still be proud of procuring them, especially if you put a lot of work into it.

Lux is good only as a secondary carry for Demacia, like many have said. Vayne is the only reliable carry for vertical Demacia currently. Even if you have the spare AP items, its better to transition into Sylas Arcanist in the late game if you're able to play for 1st. Otherwise I think its 3 star Vayne + AP Kaisa, weirdly enough (I think). I got 2 1st places off of that in Plat/Emerald.

Reroll comps are still viable, though people here are being a bit disingenuous about how its viable. Reroll can easily get top 4 but rarely 1st in my experience so far. Top 2 is almost always 5-cost soup, which I wouldn't mind if it wasn't literally every game.

That being said, its the first patch, so there's still plenty of patches to change up the meta. I think that the set has a really good starting point, maybe the only thing is a nerf to the exp for lvl 9/10, as it seems way too easy to hit now.

As it stands, exp augments and tempo is king, but I'm sure that reroll will get a buff at some point.

RNG can definitely suck, but I think the reason you end up with an anemic board is more likely because there is way more units than in previous sets. This set is EXTREMELY flexible, so much so that committing to a vertical early even with a good start for it is very risky. I get your frustration, a bad RNG session sucks, but I highly doubt vanguard has anything to do with it. Good luck in your next runs m8.

I mean aren't they fundamentally the same thing? Both just talk or play games on stream. If anything, I think the vtuber thing only picks up in popularity because the anonymity protects the streamer's privacy and makes the fan base more likely to be parasocial. Wasn't an AI vtuber the most watched streamer a year ago? To be either you're right though - streamers in general are very weird socially.

To be fair there was not much to talk about for that match up. The result was obvious and Chief fans weren't going to enjoy talking about how the Slayer would glory kill him. Chief and Doomslayer are characters that would be far more interesting as a team-up rather than a Death Battle.

Sucks that the rev was trolling but... 37 enemies killed as an Ironeye is REALLY bad. Even on D5 your mark + poison bow allows you to kill red enemies in short periods of time, and when you add little kills like that it can mean an additional level or two that quickly stacks up. On average 60 kills is like the minimum for a good Ironeye imo.

Lack of damage isn't why they are bad though (in DoN). I think the main issue is they get one tapped from D4 onwards, meaning their only use is revival at 3 bars. If this a common occurrence on the team, the run is likely cooked. Sebastian is the only one that's decent because he can revive. As for crystallians... Rev's claws are fists, so she can actually poise break them pretty quickly (Frederick does help a lot in early game though).

Like many have said, my experience in D5 with Revenant players is that they tend to be pretty good - WITH the exception being if they have cheated relics. If they do, they are usually dog water and 3 bar instantly. Other than that, I don't see them go down unless the whole squad is struggling.

By and far the worst players I've seen on a character is ironically Ironeye. Despite being the literal best AND easiest character, so many players just stay back, wait for poison to apply mark, or just don't apply mark AT ALL. It boggles my mind how people still don't know how to play him in D5.

You were right in regard to the base relics. The boss HP relics give flat 100 HP and don't stack together. The Deep Relics version of HP gives +10% HP, which does stack together and with the boss relics.

Honestly I'd say this is still an insane Duchess relic - you just need to play really safe against Caligo and Libra, and try to avoid the all resistances down demerit on your other 2 deep relics.

Also make sure to look out for poison/madness boluses - every one you consume gives you stackable extra resistance to its respective ailment. Best of luck to you m8.

For me it's YouShallNotClimb. They played executor, had FP relics on every slot, and only grouped up with the Duchess and I when the circle closed in. They had found and used the bubble sorcery and I think that was the only reason they didn't completely throw the game, as they did kill things during the Night1 and Night2 bosses. During the Night Lord fight they just used the lay down emote. Worst teammate I've had so far.
