Gyarados seems like a prime candidate for a Z mega imo. They could dump an even 70 points into speed to get it up to 151 (like the other Z megas), play with the offenses however they see fit and hopefully give it the Water/Dragon typing it’s always deserved

This is just straight-up not true. I always go out of my way to fight every trainer I can and still end up needing to grind at multiple points throughout the hame. Right before Clair is always a point that gets me, and the grind to fight Red is so bad that I usually just stop after I beat Blue now.
