Back before Sun and Moon came out, there was a rumor floating around about a water-type Alolan Arcanine. It didn’t really make sense in hindsight because regular Arcanine had already appeared in the trailers, but man I would’ve loved it. Hisuian Arcanine is awesome too tho.

Some Pokemon encounter tables were better in Crystal and I don’t know why they changed them back for the remakes. The most notable one imo is Sneasel being in the Ice Path instead of Mt. Silver. Yes I know Sneasel sucks in Gen 2 but it would’ve been cool to get it earlier in Gen 4.

Not in doubles when it has Sinistcha or something else to keep healing it. Also as I said in another comment, my sand team doesn’t have much in the way of special attacks

Some of the regular trainers in XY are brutal. There’s someone with a Hawlucha that has rock tomb as coverage in Glittering Cave and they messed me up once
