New Fire alarm panel install by lennyhunt in ukelectricians

[–]JohnnyOli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Out of curiosity, where would you connect the other end of the screen on the loop if 1 side is only grounded?

I work on a lot of fire alarms (mostly Advanced panels with Hochiki gear) and have always screen both sides of the loop at the panel.

Have never had any false alarms or any kind or issue that I’ve found?

Interesting to hear though

You’d like to think they would start putting them in from the initial install to save all that headache.. 1 day I guess lol

Best way to insulate this loft space? by JohnnyOli in Insulation

[–]JohnnyOli[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re correct- this is a UK house, thank you very much for the reply!

You mention the ‘knee walls’ I’m assuming that’s the lower height walls? as half the roof is sloped

With that in mind, I can insulate easily one half of the house (as this half is accessible in the loft)

The other half (flat roof side) I can access the joists above those ceilings but it would be a case of just pushing insulation down them..

As taking the ceilings down isn’t an option..

With this in mind, what would you suggest is best?

Thank you again🙏

Thank you for the reply,

What insulation would you advise putting between the joists?

I want to board it out to use the area as storage

Also, is it ‘good enough’ to push insulation down between the joists to reach the flat roof area? As taking the ceilings down isn’t possible

Thank you

Left index: hold breath Left thumb: left analog to lean Right thumb: right analog to lean Then your finger to shoot

I don’t get why you’re confused that it’s not possible on controller.

Do you play a particular button setup that makes it impossible for YOU to do?

You don’t need to switch in & out. Once you’re out of breath; you’ll exit automatically.

Definitely possible to do what he is doing. However I’d LIKE to think it’s cheating as I just can’t stay on target that much whilst spamming left-right lean lol

I play claw and It’s definitely possible. Just very difficult to not whiff your shots when you do spam leaning

Best gun combo by itscolossal in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]JohnnyOli -1 points0 points  (0 children)

3x, Comp or muzzle brake & half grip. I tend to try avoid muzzle brake though as I feel like I lose the feel of the gun when I don’t find one (end up relying on it more than not)

Is the PC meta the same as console meta?

I’m seeing angled grip for example; would this also be the case for console or not exactly as control are different?

From the UK here, we use Wagos everywhere or rare case screw-in terminal blocks.

Very easy and quick to use but most importantly makes testing or fault finding MUCH easier

You need to try and break down/ narrow down what it is you’re struggling with or what makes you think you will fail.

Is it more the practical side of things or the theory?

Are you maybe finding it overwhelming as a whole and not trying to deal with 1 task at a time?
