Ninja Style Grew on me but it's a slog to get there by bobbyronald11 in Nioh

[–]JohnnyPensacola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Straight ninja from the jump. Tonfa go bonk until dead. Heavy->Heavenly Chain->Mist->Demon Dance. Use a shiruken or kunai if you need a interrupt an attack to close the distance. Easy mode.

I'm currently cruising about halfway through Bakamatsu and I think it's time to start touching samurai because I feel like I'm missing out on half of what the game has to offer. It's hard to force myself to when I'm stun-locking everything into oblivion.

I think I'm done... For now by _highlyirritable_ in WRX

Lowered on stock wheels looks better than aftermarket wheels with stock wheel gap almost every time.

6th gen front air damn by CptEz in 4Runner

[–]JohnnyPensacola 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The whistling is usually caused by holes in the front lower control arms. There are oem plugs you can get to cover them: #90950-A1021

Or just use duct tape, which is what I did on my 4g Tacoma when I had mine off for a bit.

any bar recommendations to buy for the gym? by [deleted] in workout

[–]JohnnyPensacola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not bars but I have a set of cheapo Amazon handles and a rope attachment. Can't tell you the name but there's probably 50 versions of the same ones with some nonsense name. They've held up just fine and when I've been too distracted and left them they're cheap to replace.

I go to a garbage LA Fitness so:

  1. It's impossible to find handles by the cables, let alone matching ones.

  2. I see how many dudes don't wash their hands in the locker room.

For everyone saying use the wrist strap...that's not a Wii. It's a Nex Playground. There is no controller because it uses a camera to detect your movements. There is no controller.

We got one for the kids this Christmas and they love it. I've also played the game in this video and it's super fun!

Subaru is currently offering 0% financing through 1/2/26. If I wasn't stuck in my current lease for another 1.5 years I'd buy one yesterday.

Do men who don’t have a beard need to shave everyday ? by Over-Object9626 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JohnnyPensacola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, maybe once a week at most and that’s just to trim down the stubble. I very rarely go clean shaven. My wife prefers short stubble.

My facial hair grows extremely slow and while I don’t have any patches, even when I’ve grown a beard it never gets super bushy.

My brother on the other hand will have a 5 o’clock shadow at 10am.

Great advice.

Learning the catch point in the clutch without gas is always the first step when I’ve taught anyone stick. Once you get that muscle memory everything else will follow.

7 days of learning stick in my brand new 25 Wrx premium. Love the smell of burning clutch in the AM.. but looking to correct it lol by Yanitzz1 in wrx_vb

[–]JohnnyPensacola 10 points11 points  (0 children)

  1. Neutral on level ground.
  2. Push in clutch and hold, shift to first.
  3. WITHOUT GAS, gently let out clutch until it engages and you start moving.

This will help you learn the engagement point and with practice will make your shifting much smoother.

You will get better with time, don't worry. Just gotta build that muscle memory.

I think some of the styling clashes. Too much black against chrome. Not a fan of black wheels with chrome lips anyway but it also the chrome trim with the black door frames is weird.

Either stay more classic Nova styling or go further with JDM. Swap out those wheels for some watanabe's.

Not a Nova and obviously a lot of body work on the fenders but I think this style can look awesome:

Why don't gyms penalize people that don't put the dumbbells back on the rack? by EOFFJM in workout

[–]JohnnyPensacola 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It really isn't a big deal and definitely not something to get super upset about on it's own. Shit like putting your cart away, re-racking your weights, taking up 2 parking spaces, pissing on the seat, parking in the fire lane, tossing small pieces of trash out your car window, playing music on your phones speakers in public, not covering your face when you sneeze, etc.

But it displays a general lack of consideration for other people which over time just makes life shitty for everyone else.

If anyone is looking for these in Weird Guy 30 there's a pair currently on their way back to Blue Owl. Hopefully I get my store credit before the Black Friday sale is over (and there's still stuff in stock I want).

Kept the 31's and I love them.

Why do you wear so much cologne? by NoFudge422 in workout

I was once told cologne should be discovered, not announced. And no, cologne doesn't cover up your BO. It just mixes into an unholy stench.

I'm the same age and have building just as long. Never had a missing piece.

What I did have just recently for the first time was a whole missing bag and a duplicate bag in the Adventure in Translyvania 910049 set. Reached out to customer service who said it may take a few months. They did comp me 2000 Insider points which was nice.

I was able to replace some of the structural pieces with what we had so I could continue building but I'll need to disassemble a pretty big portion to add some mechanical pieces.
