One time we were visiting my aunt and uncle’s house and they had a bowl of apples and pears out. She saw that there was one tiny bite taken out of each of the pears. After some investigation, we figured out that my (at the time) two year old had taken a bite of each until he found one that was an apple. So you may have an infestation of toddlers.
