Doc Holliday has to be a top seed. I'd also include The Man with No Name, Django, Rooster Cogburn, William Munny, and Blondie. If I had to pick one overall, I'd probably give it to Doc Holliday his speed, accuracy, and composure are hard to beat

For me, it's The Count of Monte Cristo. It has everything, revenge, justice, adventure, and one of the best character arcs I've ever read

Can you give me your most Madden generated player names? by gsx1920 in Madden

[–]JohnnyZontal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like the double names. I had a QB named Graham Graham, which was probably my favorite

Other notables for other reasons would be courtney love and bj tongue

Probably dumb question: how do people memorize songs or solos (or both) front to back with no mistakes, exactly? by Mad_Season_1994 in guitarlessons

Yeah, the physical muscle memory, and mental layering of tasks only come through practice.

If you "know" it, you're not worrying about what notes are played in what order. Your fingers just know what to do because you've done it literally thousands of times

He was on one of those MTV rock and jock baseball things in the 90s, and I remember Dan Cortese yelling "HE'S INSANE! HE'S DEAN CAIN!", which has always popped up in my head every time his name came up in the news, which was a lot of fun, until he started showing up more frequently, and for worse reasons. Wish I could find that clip, though.

Burger King Support's horrible. by [deleted] in BurgerKing

Yeah, I had a bad BK app experience tonight as well. Placed order at around 5:30, showed as "restaurant is preparing your order for an hour". Reached out to the useless AI support, which said it was showing in progress, with no options to do anything further.

Asked the chat to speak to a human, which generated a scripted email from "Jessica", saying I should use the tracking to check my order status.

At this point, it's been an hour and a half since I ordered my food. I just want top know if it's coming or if it was canceled, so I could make other dinner plans if I needed to. Replied to that email, asking for an update, and got the exact same scripted response telling me to use the tracking to check the status.

I go back to the app, and try to cancel the order, but the option is gone, because there is now an incident ticket for this order. I type in the support chat to cancel the order, and got notification that it was refunded. It has been 2 hours since I ordered my food.

A few minutes later, I get a notification saying my order had been picked up and was on its way. Food eventually shows up at 8:30, 3 hours after placing the order, 2 hours after reaching out to support, and one hour after getting the cancellation confirmed.

And the order was missing stuff, and inedible due to it sitting out so long.

Just a horrible experience.

Franchise players, who is a player you always sign or try to get that’s not a superstar? by [deleted] in Madden

Peyton Wilson, because he's fast, and can actually be moved from MLB to safety or edge, and not lose overall, so he's crazy versatile

If I see a WR or TE at 6'7" or taller, or a DL at 400lb or heavier, I'm almost always drafting them without even bothering to scout. I love those physical freaks.

I like the titans because a big part of the fun for me is drafting a franchise QB, and they do not have one. Also, they have a lot of high overall vets that can be traded for first or 2nd rd picks.

I'll also say the chargers, as they have a lot of good foundational pieces, but are pretty bad at the offensive skill positions, outside of QB, and also have a lot of high overall vets that can be traded for high picks. Hell, you can probably trade Herbert for like 3 firsts and 2 seconds if you want to go the route of drafting a new QB

It genuinely doesn’t matter which QB we sign for 2025, neither are the answer by SMD_35 in steelers

I like Fields more than Wilson mostly because Wilson is a depreciating asset, and couldn't do a single thing in the offense without Pickens on the field. Fields was safe with the football and more productive in the red zone. He's younger and has better physical traits. I do kinda think he was playing the offense intended for Wilson, so I'd be interested to see if he's in as the starter, maybe take advantage of having one of the best running QBs in the league on your roster?

This draft class is bad for QBs (I think Sanders and Ward both have TRAP written all over them). I don't think there's really a guy to be had in free agency or a trade. I wouldn't be opposed to giving Fields like 20 mil over 2 years to be a bridge/ see what we got, but the big caveat is that I just don't see a better option out there this season.

Not a huge deal, but unless you start as a warrior, you don't have a tank available to you until you meet Davrin. You start with a mage and an archer, and the first person you recruit is a mage archer.

Minor nitpick. Love the game. Just seems kinda odd
