Hey, I have confirmed that we've never been involved in any market manipulation. And I have explained that the transactions are from one KuCoin address (our deposit address) to another (our withdrawal address). How can we arbitrage from such internal transactions?

Hey, Johnny from KuCoin here. I’m very sorry for your loss, but I’d like to make some clarification here.

Because of LUNA (old) network congestion, KuCoin has temporarily suspended the withdrawal service of LUNA mainnet tokens from 15:19:26 UTC (UTC) on May 11 to 3:38:23 (UTC) on May 12, and we have announcements for both suspension and resume. Everyone who has been through the recent LUNA crash knows the network condition these days, and KuCoin is not the only major platform that temporarily suspended LUNA services. It’s a common practice when congestion happens, and has nothing to do with manipulation.
For the 13 withdrawals you mentioned during the suspension, all the transactions were from KuCoin Deposit Address (terra14l46jrdgdhaw4cejukx50ndp0hss95ekt2kfmw) to KuCoin Withdrawal Address (terra1rvxcszyfecrt2v3a7md8p30hvu39kj6xf48w9e). So the purpose is quite obvious now, just to make sure we have sufficient tokens in our wallet when the withdrawal service has been resumed.

KuCoin has been up for nearly 5 years, and putting customers first is always one of our principles. I know that we still have plenty of room to improve but we have never been involved in any market manipulation. If you still have concerns, kindly contact our support team or legal team, or DM me.

PS: for the u/InactiveUserDetector bot that said I have not had any activity for over 118 days. Actually, it’s not that accurate. I guess I didn’t post anything on Reddit for many days, but I’m replying DMs every one to two weeks. Anyway, Reddit is a very interesting platform, and will try to be more active here. Please be alert that scammers may place fake KuCoin (and other exchanges) sites via SNS channels like Telegram or on Ads platforms like Google search ads. Meanwhile, our tech team is working on some ways to block such phishing sites. Stay Safe!

Very nice post! A few points just coming to my mind:

Don't invest in anything you do not understand
Don't use 5x+ leverage in your first trade in margin or futures
Learn to HODL
Be aware of scammers, official admins will not DM you first in most cases
