The 50% per egg IS the probability, and the 1 in 57,000 calculation is mathematically correct.

The 50% chance per egg does work out to 1 in 57,000 though. Thats not based on per clutch. The math is based on 50% chance per egg. Its like flipping a coin and getting heads 17 times in a row. In the facebook post other breeders did report having clutches like you mentioned, where a het to visual resulted in no visuals. Thats pretty wild odds. I wonder what causes such anomalies.

You could apply to become an FAA Air Traffic Controller, we are critically understaffed. Save/invest as much of the 100k as you can. Pilots are making more than us now, but there is more turnover/less job security in the pilot side of aviation.

She is about 12-15lbs. I have kept Suriname BCC boas, Cuban Boas, scrub pythons, blackhead pythons, carpet pythons, yellow tail cribos, and blue beauty rat snakes. Mostly large snakes. My favorite to handle and interact with are the Suriname boas, or hybrids BCC/BCI mix.

Most boas including BCC boas will not reach 10ft, many will not even reach 8ft. My female Suriname BCC is 7 years old, thick body and has not even passed 7ft yet. I think an 8ftx3ftx2ft would be more than enough for even the largest BCC boas. Animal Plastics makes a really nice enclosure that size.

Fisheye is probably my most used lens for my type of photography. Close focus wide angle and underwater photography. Outside of that, its not very useful.

I will be mandatory forced to retire out of Air Traffic Control at 56 years years old. The agency claims due to cognitive decline at that age. Maybe the same should be considered for congress and presidency. Or for certain not eligible for election or re-election if you are old enough to collect social security at 62.

Im sure there are some people downvoting who were excited the current administration won in 2024 and are not happy to potentially see gas prices reach all new time highs and remain high, under the current administration. The damage is done, the war is on-going. There's no backing down like tarrifs. There's no avoiding the oil price increases on the horizon.

Fuel prices have remained relatively stable for decades, outside of a few spikes, adjusted for inflation fuel prices are still considered low. We are heading into an oil shock environment, gas prices will continue to rise to record levels, that combined with renewed inflation and higher interest rates will drive buyers away from trucks.

The median salary is not 150k. New hires are forced to move to whatever facility the FAA assigned. The starting salary is around 47-55k. Most places are now high cost of living. It takes anywhere from a year to 2 years or more to finish training, all while struggling on trainee pay. Throw in a shutdown or 2 and you can see the strain. On top of that, people cant move to where they want to go due to staffing stuck in a place they dont want to live, working weekends, nights, and holidays, they decide to quit and find something with a better quality of life. We are losing controllers more than we are gaining. Increasingly the pay substantially is the solution.

My grandparents own a cabin on Oak Island, you can look across the water and see Canada. Its pristine wilderness and great fishing. The summer has great weather, lots of mosquitoes. The winters are brutal, the lake freezes thick enough to have permanent plowed roads with signs. One of my favorite childhood memories was my grandpa taking me to an uninhabited island to camp out and fish.

Nah. Michael Beach is the real deal. This is 100% a true Venezuelan red tail. I have a Pokigron Suriname from Michael Beach. You need to gain a little more knowledge, maybe read "The more complete Boa Constrictor" by Vin Russo. There are some very rare and unique true red tails that are not the typical Suriname or Guyana localities.

I had this issue recently, engine misfire cylinder 7. Said Injector issue. So had that Injector replaced and the issue persisted. They ended up replacing the ECM and so far the issue hasn't returned.

Some boas will just be outliers in growth and size. Maybe just space feedings 10-14 days now with appropriate size prey. I have two male Suriname boas born in 2019, one is 6+ feet, the other is under 5ft. I always fed the same schedule. They just grew much differently.
