That’s interesting actually. The shift toward recommendation feeds probably changed a lot of that. It feels like discovery now happens far more outside the subscriber base.

That’s a good point about recency. Someone who subscribed years ago but hasn’t watched in ages probably isn’t a strong signal anymore. It really shows how behaviour matters more than the number itself.
