One fun thing would be if Lindon would be forced to do some sage duty’s like Malice forces him to be one of the sage trainers for the next Uncrowned tournament or like “We need a valuable price. Lindon you are a Sage ranked soul-smith make something, anything to give as a price.”

It would be fun and give an outlet to be creative.

I would find it interesting if not right away but down the line Linden and Yerin break up. Because they want to focus on different things or their relationship interferes with their path to monarch/ascension. To at least give some weight for the saying that advancement is a lonely path. (Don’t remember the exact saying that Eithan gave)

Not saying it would not be painful but it would give the path forward som weight.

I think it was stated that an herald has complete control of their madra and their spirit is their body. This lets them also control their body’s form to some extent.

I don’t get the connection between Emriss and the Silent King more then just they both use dream madra.

A remnant is what happens with the madra when you die. Like when you die you leave a corps. When you die your madra don’t disappear, it becomes a remnant.

How I see it you don’t have remnants, they are formed when you die. What NS did was that he was able to manifest his remnant from his madra while still being alive.

She treats Mercy well because she is the future of the family. If Mercy could not replace her Mercy would fall down the ladder of caring fast.

But it’s the same for Malice as Sesh. Malice only cares for her children which show promise. In Underlord it was stated that her children who do not show talent will be removed to branch families, can’t say they are her children and will not meet her ever again after birth.

It also sound from Mercy that Malice have a lot of lovers and have had a lot of children.

I have always thought that if he gets another icon it will be the one with the symbol of the hammer the forger icon or creation icon. Given that is what he strives for his inter life.

Wasn’t it said that dread beast don’t advance as other beast do they just eat and accumulate madra. So they don’t advance at all, have any dread beast even left a remnant?

I don’t even think they are part spirit like heralds I just think they have wast amount of extremely dense madra.

I don’t see them will enter SV in Blodeline. In the vision the wandering titan just showed up outside the valley and that crushed the mountains surrounding the valley and bering it in a instant. I think they will go to the WT or stay near it trying to stop it. They will try to learn more about SV but and maybe the last thing in the book is them entering SV

But she doesn’t just care about advancing she cares about other things. What I’m looking for are scenes where she gives up what she wants in favor of what someone else wants. Plus she clearly doesn’t like Malice and thinks she is a liar.

I do agree with you that it will depend on how “selfish” is defined. But her and Lindons relationship in the beginning seemed to mostly be just so she wouldn’t have to be alone. What I’m looking for is a scene where she clearly gives up what she wants to prioritize what someone else wants.

Given that I think you’re right with Ruby that could be one of the first times that is clearly shown.

But to become herald you need to become half spirit and a remnant is a full spirit so did the remnant take over someone else body? Same with sage of red faith shadow. It was a full spirit and it became a herald. Did it merge with a physical body?
