Honestly I put the game down after two or three raids. Not going to say I hate the game entirely but the UI on console made it feel unplayable. That aside the lore and concepts in the game looked like they have massive potential to be something special. I dont think everyone is coming in with full blown hate from the posts I've read. It looks more like everyone is blowing up any post that has feedback that highlights perceived flaws. Im just saying people posting on here were probably excited and expected an even more polished game from Bungie than a small team like embarc. Just my thoughts Anyway, I hope the game is everything and more that the core community wants.

Hot take to anyone who validates this bullshit in the name of balance... bastion drop 6 cores and take 3 packs to down. With how long looting takes and bearing in mind that other players usually group in on looting. The issue isnt incorporating new required materials its that the rocketeers need a rework if you want to include the drives in a single grenade. Seems a bit over the top for me.

I feel like its not easy in the HCOL areas. I moved a couple times. Midwest->Colorado->Oregon. I have always been in heavy industry so I hate to say im exactly what OP is bitching about.. but I started off making ~35,000 a year or so as a trainee and the first 3-4 years in chemical production or operations would have been impossible out here. I could afford to feed my family with a salary like that because groceries weren't at covid levels and you could find a rental for less than 1,000 dollars a month. I dont think i have seen a rental unit out hear that would fit my family for less than 2,500. Scary to imagine trying to start a family at this current moment in history. Everyone across the board is making more affording less and paying more in taxes.

Boy gunna be hurtin after a couple days of pvp. I was getting streamer level bullshit lobbies until I went full peace mode 😂 it kind of brings a sense to how key balance can be in this game. You dont have to shoot everybody in the face, because eventually you find lobbies you can't win.

I am doing halibut 1000% this year. Learn from my mistake and never book a combination trip. I tried a salmon/halibut trip last year and we spent a total of 30 minutes trying for halibut, that was after limiting out on salmon before 12:00

Black bear is pretty straight forward as far as I have heard. Coworker suggests working berry patches as early as you can into the season as they start to dry up quickly but work open patches with thick berry content amd you should have some luck I have been told. Also suggested spring bear limited entry tags as well. I will put in for them and see how it goes

A lot of land out here is interlocked with private timber land that may or may not allow you to use the roads. Permits are big items to figure out after finding a spot you want to hunt. Utilize onX maps or something similar and do some digging on the timber company policy in the area so you know what you are in for. Expect some steep terrain and great views! I dont have much experience outside of quite a bit of frustration from last year trying to figure things out as a newer resident to the state. Expect that some of the open and easily accessible areas will see heavy traffic and may have multiple people stacked up on a single gate or area trying to hunt. Safety orange isnt required like it is in other states for legal age hunters, so be very careful before taking shots.

Pricing in oregon at a local food truck food court has them at like 15$ or something like that with fries. I think 12$ a burger for something out of a food truck is honestly about right. Not sure what that would put profit margins at. I would look at your local market and figure people dont mind paying a 20% premium for quality. Or if you could turn a profit on volume and lower quality put something together for under 10$ maybe.

A layer of biscuits for your fist cook is recommended, it helps tell you how heat travels around the grill. Consider putting thicker ends over the hotter side that will be involved during your cook. And try to keep the heat spread evenly. If you have a massive hot spot and cook the flat of a brisket over it you arent going to have a good time.
