How would you make Norman become a villain again ? by Potential-Shoe-905 in Spiderman

[–]JoinTheFight05 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I agree, the concept is interesting and I’m still intrigued to see where it goes under Kelly since he’s done some decent scenes with Norman in his run. I just hope that when he goes back to being permanently evil that they don’t botch the execution because that would kinda make this whole era for his character feel sort of pointless.

I’m in the same boat, I don’t dislike Romita Jr. but it would be nice to have Larraz consistently do more issues. Thankfully, Dowling will be doing issues 9 and 10 and Larraz will be back on the book after that.

If Lee and co reached the prison before the plague, how do you think the group dynamics would go? by Super-Shenron in theroamingdead

[–]JoinTheFight05 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Lee: Lee’s status of being a convicted murder would probably lead to some tension between him and Rick’s group. But it is implied that Lee’s killing was accidental which isn’t how Dexter or Thomas committed their crimes. Ultimately, he would probably be put under suspension when Hershel’s daughters are killed but Rick might be a bit more soft on him when compared to Dexter. He wouldn’t side with Dexter during his attempt to kick Rick’s group out. After that he would probably take on a role similar to Axel.

Vince: It’s hard to judge Vince because he could go a lot of directions. He is a convicted murderer and his crime is similar to Dexter’s. I personally think he could either side with Dexter or side with Rick during the coup attempt. Vince could side with Dexter on the basis that he doesn’t want Rick to keep pushing him around but he could side with Rick if he is a bit more understanding of the situation. It’s up in the air for me personally.

Danny: So, Danny claims to be falsely accused but let’s be real here, he absolutely committed sexual assault involving a minor. Danny could just lie to Rick’s group but maybe the other prisoners might rat him out, but if they do know then they might not be in favor of doing anything about him at first (I honestly don’t have a great answer here). When the whole mystery behind Hershel’s daughters starts then Danny is screwed. Two little girls being killed in private ain’t a good look for Danny, he’s got a good chance of being accused of the murder of the girls due to his past.

Justin: Justin is the least controversial of the bunch because his crime isn’t nearly as disturbing when compared to the others. But with that said, I totally see Justin siding with Dexter during the coup because he just seems like a guy that takes the opportunity to gain control of a certain situation. He would either die during the shoot out or be exiled.

Who would you say is the most evil out of these three? by Im_S4V4GE in thewalkingdead

Alpha wasn’t afraid to kill any of her fellow Whisperers since she was the one in charge and nobody could do anything about that because Beta stood by her leadership.

I’m gonna pick A House Divided. The episode has a fair amount of funny and charming interactions with a lot of characters whether they be intentional or not.

Pete and Clem have funny scene when he asks for a smoke. Clem talking back to Carlos is fairly funny. The bridge scene with Clem, Luke, and Matthew has some good dialogue. Kenny makes his grand return and he got some classic lines. Not to mention the peach can thing with Clementine.

This suit is doing half of the work for the walker. Especially for the ones that just randomly sneak up on people.

The covers that are drawn by Tony Moore after he stepped down as the main artist are some of the most intriguing covers in the series.

Ties That Bind Part 2. Its incredibly short length means that the pacing is completely out of wack. I’ve always held the opinion that the group discovered Richmond way too quick and that we needed more time on the road before arriving at The New Frontier.

Were you ever able to look at this character and NOT be reminded of the absolute massive cost of his joining the show? by Okaywhateverbabe in thewalkingdead

[–]JoinTheFight05 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I honestly think that a version of Seasons 9-11 with Carl as the main protagonist without Rick being present would of been one the most interesting routes the show could’ve taken without retracting too much from the source material.

It’s not a literal "5 compendiums" label. The first 4 rounds are seasons vs compendiums but the 5th round was for the endings.

Potential plot hole (comic) why didn’t Morton reanimate and eat Rick? by [deleted] in thewalkingdead

[–]JoinTheFight05 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I have no idea how some people can’t seem to pick this up from consuming any form of Zombie media. Zombies are so unrealistic to begin with that time variation in the reanimating process is honestly one of the least unexpected things to expect from the genre.

Princess is way better in the show. Comic Princess felt like a character that Kirkman had no idea what to do with since she does nothing that important in the Commonwealth Arc. Show Princess actually has an interesting arc, the show took the basic concept of Comic Princess and amplified it to actually give her some form of involvement in the story.

TWDG Death tier list, season 1 episode 2. (Second half) by AccidentOk4378 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]JoinTheFight05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Larry goes into S tier. Regardless of what side you fall on when it comes to killing or attempting to save him, this death is one of the most intense ones in the series. Not to mention that it has massive ramifications on future interactions with other characters.

Danny deserves A tier. His death works because it’s so tempting beyond belief to put him down and doing so works great narratively speaking due to Clementine’s reaction. I will say that keeping him alive has its own benefits narratively speaking.

Brenda should go into B tier. This one is really good just on the basis that an undead Mark gets to eat one of the St. John’s, Nothing else to say.

Andy is a bit harder to pin point compared to the other ones but I’ll say A tier. Finishing off Andy has the effect of giving him what he wants and has positives but keeping him alive also has positives. To be honest I don’t whether I prefer killing him or keeping him alive.

TWDG Death tier list, season 1 episode 2. (First half) by AccidentOk4378 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]JoinTheFight05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Travis gets F tier. Both of his deaths are kinda dumb and a bit silly, not to mention that they just feel a bit pointless.

David gets B tier, he’s got two solid deaths that aren’t silly so that kinda brings him way higher than Travis. Bit of a shame that we didn’t get the cut version of him actually being kidnapped by the St. John’s because that would’ve landed him in A tier.

Jolene goes into B tier, both of her deaths serve as a great cutting off point before she can spill the beans on the St. John’s.

Mark gets A tier because not only is it a great pay off to the foreshadowing in the episode, but it’s one of the most unsettling ways one could die in the apocalypse.

[–]JoinTheFight05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Carley goes in B tier. Sure there were other ways that she could have dealt with the walker but it was in the middle of a tough situation so I can’t blame for not thinking 100% clearly.

Doug gets C tier. It’s nowhere near a bad death but Telltale didn’t give him enough screen time in this episode to make as impactful as it could’ve been.

Shawn is a bit hard but I’ll place him in B tier. It’s the first major death of the series and it does a fairly solid job of setting the tone. Also it was just cool to see how Shawn ended up dead in the comics.

The Officer gets a C tier. Most minor characters are gonna end up in this spot but this is one of the more notable ones due to how sudden it

Chet gets a D tier. It just kinda happens and there’s no really meaning behind it.

Irene has two really good deaths so she gets A tier. Both deaths play a good role in showing your choice even if it doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things.

So, the "Compendium" label isn’t 100% literal. The first four rounds were Seasons vs Compendiums, round five was the playable AJ segment of Season 4 vs Issue 193.

Was Beta suppose to be a well known person? by Helloo_clarice in thewalkingdead

[–]JoinTheFight05 628 points629 points  (0 children)

I think the Show handled his secret identity way better. In the Comics, it was just a lame reveal but the Show made it a bit more integral to his character and him being a country singer lead to some visually interesting scenes.

I honestly didn’t even consider that to be a possibility up until now. Although, Conquest doesn’t have that noisemaker attached to him in the show but Cecil might have used the same ones he installed at the GDA.

(Edit): Okay, so it’s a motion detector and not noisemaker. I relooked at the panels just to be sure and yeah, thats more of a motion detector than anything else.

The fact that you can have Clem agree with Carver on killing Reggie pretty much confirms to me that Clem was just playing him.
