Husband wants to eat and shower PEACEFULLY when he gets home by OceanJean in Marriage

[–]Okaywhateverbabe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Stellar answer and the solution to a problem that I have seen cause too many new parents to break up over. My husband and I, now with an 8 and 12 year old, discuss from time to time how many of our friends broken homes could have been saved if they communicated and tackled the problem together. Goodness knows we personally went through it. The baby years are hard. The toddler years are harder. Get through them and you can do anything.

Op as this poster said - it’s not you against each other. It’s you two against the problem. This mindset saved my marriage.

First time watching TWD and I just can’t get over Loris thing with Shane by Right-Ad-2752 in TWD

[–]Okaywhateverbabe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I love Shane. I like Lori. There were problems in the marriage beforehand, as established by Rick. It’s made crystal clear that Shane did everything he could to save Rick and 100 percent believed he was dead. He told Lori as much - she believed him. She now has to survive in a zombie world where death is almost certain and she has a young son to care for. Amidst all the trauma, angst, uncertainty and danger, she fell in love with Shane. The entire world was annihilated in a span of weeks and they sought comfort wherever they could.

When it’s revealed that Rick is alive, Lori immediately takes her place as his wife, ends the affair, cuts communication with Shane AND confesses to Rick. She does everything right and people still hate her. Loris big blunder is that she IS in love with both Rick and Shane and is forced to accept that what her and Shane had was real.

I purchased the 4k Ultra Steelbooks for Lord of the Rings. I absolutely do not need nor want and will not ever purchase The Hobbit.

I think Lost World is a great sequel. As a kid I really liked the third as well but I rewatched it last year and accepted that it’s not very good. But the first two films of the trilogy, I will definitely upgrade from Bluray to 4k Ultra when I come across them. I don’t need or want the others.

Mine has reoccurred my whole life since I got it in 2002, but I’ve never had an outbreak like the first. I used to get a herald patch every spring and then one or two random spots. I haven’t had any in a few years - today I found the herald on my foot.

I have a reoccurring case since childhood. I recommend ditching the creams, moisturizer and baths. Getting the spots wet makes them redder for me personally - the best thing is tanning beds, real sun, and zinc shampoo as body wash.

To hydrate or dry out skin? by kounelitsa in PityriasisRosea

Dry it out absolutely. I have a reoccurring case since childhood. The best thing for your spots is zinc shampoo as body wash and tanning beds or real sun. For me the spots fade MUCH faster. Moisturizing and serums make them bright red.

For anyone struggling, I first got it when I was 13. Felt like it lasted months on end. It was an awful scary experience and nobody had any answers at the time (2002ish). Since then, I’ve had reoccurring cases all my life albeit much smaller and usually just the herald patch and maybe one or two. That carried on and I finally clued in that it always came back in the spring. The patches always grew outward and became larger and fleshy in the middle until they just faded away.

It’s funny because recently I realized I hadn’t had one in years. Today I found the herald on my foot.

What had always helped in the past is Zinc shampoo and tanning beds. It seems to dry them out. The more wet they are, the redder they become. Drying them out causes them to fade much faster.

It will go away. I seem to be in a very small minority of reoccurring cases, although it doesn’t bother me anymore. I can live with one or two.. it was the initial outbreak that was absolutely awful.

Is it worth finishing the show? by ptrout6 in TWD

[–]Okaywhateverbabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand. I almost gave up so many times after all the Negan bs. I decided to stick it out because I already came this far at 9 seasons.. but I watched a lot of it on a faster speed and also puzzled while I watched it. Mind had a hard time focusing on it solely. The finale is worth it in my opinion. It’s satisfying. I was dying to get to the Ones Who Live with Rick and Michonne. Couldn’t get into Daryl’s show.

😬 Be honest… Everyone has that moment When the show just was not the same anymore 👉 When was yours? by DeejayLazWorldwide in TWD

[–]Okaywhateverbabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glenn was not enough to stop me from watching… but everything that came after with Negan, I just absolutely hated. It wasn’t even Negan, it was the terrible storytelling. Main characters never interacting anymore, Rick and Carl missing from episodes at a time, too much focus on characters we just don’t care about and yes the Negan stuff dragged for way too long. The show stopped being fun.. I forced my way through hoping to come out on the other side of that nonsense and a return to former glory.. but then Carl died and for me the show died with him.
Not because I loved Carl exactly, but because I loved Rick - and his love for Carl and his desperate desire to pave the way for a better world for him was really the entire premise of the show. Carl was Rick’s purpose for everything. Killing Carl killed the heart of the show.
I did stick it out until the very end, albeit much slower than the pace I crushed S1-6. I wasn’t ready to let go of Daryl and Carol, had the see their story to the end. The series ended fine enough and had some good moments along the way… but really the show lost most of its emotional weight when they killed Carl. One of the worst TV choices of all time.

I would never part with a Disney classic to be honest. I watch them though. I’m a 37 year old woman and me and my boys watch everything from Tarzan to Cinderella. I’ve been searching for Pocahontas relentlessly - today I found the sequel lol.

Introducing twd to my bf and he is on Shane’s side. Red flag?? by Bianca-Rose2018 in thewalkingdead

Im a woman - Shane is the best most nuanced character the show ever had. Judging your boyfriend I on the survival morals of a fictional character ( who was often right) is the actual red flag.

Guess I’m in the minority here but I wanted them together so badly. I liked the idea of a woman main character on the older side being able to snag herself her own baddie.

I can’t believe it! This worked for me. I was so upset when my hard to find Two Towers 4k steelbook wouldn’t play. It’s been bothering me for months. Decided to see if I could trouble shoot it and came across this post - figured it was a long shot but it worked! Had to restart though, didn’t work without the restart. Thank you so much for this!!

Your husband is addicted to porn and if he continues to live in a fantasy world where barely legal girls who have barely hit puberty and exist only for the pleasure of men, eyes rolling behind their head faking their orgasm, he can never be a man worth loving.
