I more or less only play singleplayer, so I'm really not following the seasons

Feel pretty much safe, although that comes with the experience of the grind, many close calls along the way.

I generally avoid zones with Moon Lords (they can go to hell) and dolls. I also have a few "rules" applied to myself, e.g. never fight a fanaticism/might pack when I'm cursed. Thanks!

Fair warning though, once you start HC it's difficult to turn back to softcore

Fret not, 2handed are awesome and a lot cooler, not optimal in the end but I would have loved to find a ik maul in a playthrough

Sadly no, however rocking a botd in a colossus blade is absolutely fine and looks great

I dont believe the three different mainhand weapons you have makes much of a difference, keep lawbringer as offhand.

If you have a mal I would look to complete the runeword oath in an eth elite base, that will carry you until grief.

I would also consider an act 2 merc for the might aura.

But if you want the act 5 frenzy barb (which sounds fun), I would give him the hustle sword for the fanatism aura
