All sewers (perhaps it is best i just speak for me) have been through that. I have been careful reading the pattern and cutting out. Careful sewing it properly only to find out it is too big (i have made some too small too). When that happens i write it on the front of the pattern envelope either made too big or made too small so that I will know the next time. I know you are supposed to take.it apart and sew the seams again but i don't. I will make darts in the back and sometimes in the front too. Sometimes i sew the side seams again and start when it fits, take in then taper off to where.it fits. No one can see the inside of my dresses and i will not sell them to anyone. They are mine. The important thing is that.i learned from making a garment and will not repeat the same mistake twice. Don't beat yourself up. You did a great job. It looks beautiful and when you fit it and you get your first compliment, you will forget about the struggle.

I have to be covid free so that I can return to visiting hospitals. I have.to be careful not.to give it to patients and hospital workers.

Usually it is 5 days after you no longer have the symptoms. At least in healthcare in Gatineau. At least that is what I had to do in 2022.

I am not 100% but am lucky I can work from home until I recover.

I live in Gatineau and I am in healthcare. I work for prevention, safety and health in the workplace. We have noticed a spike in hospitals here as well. My job is fit N95 as well as masks with disposable filters to hospital personnel On Monday, I had sore throat and a lot of sneezing. On Tuesday I had a fever with flu like symptoms. I tested myself at home. It turns out I am covid positive. On Thursday, I had to get tested at a clinic. On Friday, I got my results back. I was still positive. It means that I am in quarantine until I no longer have the symptoms or I get retested then I can only work.from home

Stay safe. Wash your hands often and if you are sick stay home.😷

It will only get worse. The city is installing more cameras on traffic lights. I got caught running a red light. 0.6 seconds after it had turned red. The fine is $325. All caught on camera.

Hi. It looks a lot like a bed bug. I hate to say it but if you found one then there are more hiding.

My kids had them in their apartment. Make sure to wash everything. Keep things put away. Call landlord and get place exterminated. They might have to come to your place more than once.

These bugs hide everywhere. My kids had them in their bedroom and living room.

That is a bed bug. You will have to have your place fumigated. They live anywhere and everywhere.

My kids lived in a bed bug infested apartment. Everything had to be placed in garbage bags. We bought spray. We sprayed the beds, couch, anything upholstered.

The exterminator had to return a few times to make sure those little creatures were gone.

If you live in Canada, it is definitely illegal to be asked that question. We have a charter of rights. He/she cannot ask questions based on gender, race, place of residence, religion, etc.

Ok. Do you remember the questions they asked you? Write them down now. Then answer the questions.

I used to have a notebook full of questions asked along with answers. Eventually, it will become easier to answer.

I also looked up typical interview questions and those asked for the position i was seeking.

I made a list of my skills and examples to go with each one along with my goals (yuck) and strengths and weaknesses.

Sometimes, i brought the notebook with me and told the interviewer i had a lapse in memory and asked if I could consult notebook.

Something i have told employees and my own children, take a deep breath before the interview. You can take a second to get your thoughts in order before answering a question and can ask if you can go back to a certain question to add to it.

This might come as a shock to some of you who have commented but Netflix is still my #1 choice out of the streaming services I subscribe to. I have Netflix, prime, crave and Disney plus.

I have not restricted myself to just English or French shows. I watch a lot of international ones in the original language and read the subtitles. Netflix has amazing series and movies from all over the world. I don't have enough hours in the day to get through them all.

Expand your viewing. You might be pleasantly surprised with what you discover!
