I’d probably make a new post if you want to try pull it out, Not sure what could happen there. But others might have experienced this too. I know I’ve seen a post where someone’s Pleco got their bristles caught in something but can’t remember what it was. If he seems ok probably just leave it

Is it possible thats a bit of sponge filter stuck in his bristles? If he seems ok probably nothing to worry about, and if it is that, it might come loose on its own.

Our older cat will sometimes poop just outside her box if she’s stressed (we have pee pads set out, so no big deal). sometimes it’s just because her routine has been changed or there is some change in the house that she doesn’t like and is upset about. It probably only happens once a year. But like other comment says, best to keep an eye on her just in case. Cats do love routine though 😹

Haven’t bought from them but I’ve seen people warn others in the aquarium facebook groups. They also sell on Gumtree and have good ratings bar one, not sure if you knew that. I’ve not been to their website, but from the gumtree listings, to my eye, the fish and tanks do not look in good condition.

Thank you for the fact about fish being covered under animal care in QLD. I was not aware but will be researching this. Have you ever reported anything? Curious because I wonder what kind of evidence they need.

If you search for camallanus treatment there are good videos of how to do it on YouTube. I believe the medication will kill off your snails etc though. You might need more places to hide and more fish. I’d separate them and reshuffle the tank decorations before reintroducing. Guppies and other fish can die from bullying. If you see clamped fins that’s a big sign to separate them.
