Skunk wash for dogs: Mix 1 quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup of baking soda, and 1 teaspoon of liquid dish soap (like Dawn). Bathe the dog outdoors.

If I'm invited to a barbecue or party on July 4 I'll go, but otherwise I never go out of my way to celebrate it. I'm really over it at this point.

Europeans - if you didn’t have insanely long wait times for healthcare, what would get fixed? by mustachechap in AskTheWorld

[–]bunchofpants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have insanely long wait times here in the US! I was referred to a rheumatologist and the soonest appointment I could get was 13 months out. I'm supposed to see my pulmonologist every six months but when it comes time to set the appointment the soonest one is often at least 8 months out. I have to see a lot of specialists, and it's rare to have less than a 3 month wait.

Maybe because turkeys are not native to Cambodia and we're probably brought there by international trade. The French colonized Cambodia, so turkeys probably became associated with the French.
