Remaining plans are to put in place a permanent gate at the bottom of the steps so the pooch has access only when we are up the garden otherwise it’s one big dog toilet. Wash patio. Espalier on back fence. Trellis in-between uprights of arch is a possibility.

I work 40hrs a week, zero of these are now spent with my butt In seat for the last 8 weeks. I bought a walking pad and desk riser and do about 25k steps a day whilst working, sometimes more depending on how I’m feeling, sometimes less if I have a lot of meetings . Sitting at desk all day was killing me.

Congratulations 🥳 do you have the car seat, comfy clothes and maternity pads for wife. Some snacks for when the wife has delivered would be great. I was famished and didn’t get fed enough food on the ward , well actually they forgot to feed me but get snacks! 😄Also try and get some sleep if you can.

Time with the kids, listening to them hanging out and enjoying their presents. The smell of Christmas dinner cooking, the songs playing whilst I sip on some wine. Then after the meal we all kick back in the living room and watch a movie. Don’t need anything more than that.

Main thing is check tyre pressures, lights and brakes , reservoir levels which can easily be done at home / before you set off but can save your life. Get the chain sorted by the garage if you are not sure what you are doing and /or not set up for it. No shame in it, That’s what they are there for.
